a movie buff, a comedy fan, enjoying movies at home, Netflix fan
I will start this review off by saying that this movie is a huge disappointment and not 1/8 as good as the first one, Are We There Yet? Are We Done Yet? is the 2007 sequel to that movie and stars Ice Cube as NIck Pearsons, Nia Long as Suzanne Pearsons (Nick's wife), and John C. a movie guru, very picky about kids films
This movie is a family friendly piece of mediocrity that looks and smells like a forgettable t.v. movie. I'm rating it two stars and still calling it a Kids Worst, because the family friendly genre deserves better. — Bright SPOT: John C. McGinley as a crazed contractor steals the movie. They should have built the movie around him. — Instead what we get is a loose remake of the excellent 1948 Cary Grant RKO comedy Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House. — Ice Cube has quickly made a sequel to the so-so Are We There Yet. …
