This shampoo is great if you want an all-around, high quality shampoo.  It works well and smells great.  It leaves my hair feeling smooth and shiny.  However, I didn't buy this expensive shampoo for an all-around cleaner. I bought it as an anti-dandruff shampoo.  The shampoo is supposed to balance the pH of the scalp, which I suppose is supposed to take care of the dandruff.  I haven't found this to be the case.  It hasn't really helped at all.  As a well rounded, every day shampoo, it's great, but if you're buying it to solve a special problem, don't waste your money.  Even as a normal shampoo, its expensive.  It's very concentrated, and lasts a long time, but there are salon quality shampoos that will work better and are much less expensive.  It just doesn't seem like a good value.  If you're going to use this, don't use a lot at one time.  Due to its high concentration, just use one or two pumps and mix with water.  If you really don't like it, you can return it within one month of recieving the product.  I did not, as I held out to see if it worked.

This shampoo was just awful.  It made my hair feel like straw.  I have the conditioner, too, and thought that would help, but it didn't.  Like the last reviewer, I had some problems with hair loss (due to medication I was on).  This shampoo made my hair fall out more!  I paid a lot for this shampoo, so I wanted to give it a chance.  I used it for weeks and finally just had to throw it away.
