I have dry skin "spots," like many others, you know,  those troublesome skin spots like elbows and heals.  Using Aquaphor Healing Ointment regularly means that I can heal my skin quickly and easily and without a prescription.

The active ingredient in Aquaphor Healing Ointment is Petrolatum. The other ingredients used to make Aquaphor include Mineral Oil, Ceresin, Lanolin Alcohol, Panthenol, Glycerin, and Bisabolol. Who knew it was Vaseline with a boost?

Aquaphor Healing Ointment is doctor recommended for both adults and children.  My son also suffers from dry skin and this was the first...

Aquaphor has so many uses and a little goes a long way!

I got some samples at the hospital when i had my second child. I dabbed some on dry skin areas, like chapped cheeks and dry flaky eyebrows. I put it on his chin and it prevents acne from drooling and spitting up. I rub it under his neck rolls and it keeps them from getting red and inflamed from sweat. I put it on the diaper area at night and before naps and he has not had one diaper rash! He also has a sacral dimple and i put a little bit over that to keep it clean, it keeps it from getting stuff in it (like poop) which my pediatrician said...

This stuff is amazing..yet so simple!! I first got turned on to Aquaphor while I worked at a dermatologist office. I tried a sample, and fell in love. I use it mostly on my lips, but I have used it everywhere. It is the best lip balm...I always have it in my purse. There is no scent..which I love, because I am sensitive to fragrance. It protects my super dry lips, and is quite soothing at the same time. I also like to use it around and under my eyes at night periodically. When the skin around my eyes is feeling and looking dry, I use a super thin layer at night, and in the morning they look refreshed...

We have used so many tubs and tubes of this in our house since discovering Aquaphor in the summer of 2005 that I think I've finally lost count.  My 4 year old uses aquaphor on the skin below her bottom lip at bedtime and naptime daily, because she's a "lip licker" and its always raw, cracking and chapped under there if we don't....if we DO keep up with the aquaphor, its almost not noticeable what she's doing to her little lip.  I got my mom into using aquaphor on her nose where her oxygen tubes rubbed, and it helped her soreness and chapping there as well.  We've used this stuff for our 3...

Aquaphor is one of those products that you try and then wish you had tried it sooner. I first heard about it from my local multiples group for use on babies faces when they are drooling in order to prevent chin rash. The consistency is like petroleum jelly so it only takes a dab and works like a charm. I then saw on the package that it could be used for diaper rash and tried it for that. Wow! Talk about an overnight wonder. The redness was gone and the skin looked amazing. My trio recently had a stomach flu with diarrhea and it was Aquaphor to the rescue. One of the boys has really sensitive...

Aquaphor is a great lotion for babies, especially newborns!  Our daughter had terribly dry skin just after she was born, it was pealing and cracking.  Baby lotion just didn't do it, so we tried this and it is just awesome!  It helped to soothe baby and to heal her skin almost right away.  Our pediatrician also recommended it, saying that normal baby lotion can sometimes be too harsh for a newborn and Aquaphor was a better choice.  It does leave a little bit of an oily residue behind, more so than normal lotion, but nothing to be concerned about.  It helps your dry hands as well when you apply...

Aquaphor is an overnight miracle product.  I was given a sample by my pediatrician to take care of my daughter's rash due to poor wiping.  I was amazed that overnight it took her discomfort and redness away.  I also use this for chapped lips.  My daughter is a lip licker and I use it daily in the winter to prevent chapped lips.  If her lips become chapped, Aquaphor takes it away overnight; amazing.  You can also use this on severly chapped hands; my husband loves this stuff.  We have a tube at home, one in my purse, and one in both cars.  The uses are almost limitless.

Very good product. It works, and being a healthcare worker I know it is medically recommended. It improves the overall health and moisture in the skin. I would highly recommend aquaphor healing ointment for damaged, dry, unhealthy skin. They have different versions of the product, but they all work well, if used consistently and on a daily basis. It can be used for all ages. It can be used for all types of skin conditions, under the direction of the health provider. So if you are looking for a high quality skin care product this is it!

This is hands down the best ointment to use for diaper rash.  The Aquaphor usually takes care of the problem in one overnight application.  I recommend it to everyone who has a young child.  It works wonders and it isn't irritating to sensitive skin and it has no odor.  It is expensive as far as diaper rash creams go but it is worth every penny.
