A friend recommend the regular Aquahpor to us years ago as the best "ointment" for protecting new tattoos and it really is - After 36hours of tattoo work, I wished I discovered this product from the beginning. HOWEVER, this is a review of the baby Aquaphor. When we found out I was pregnant there were a lot of decisions, including what kind of protection for our baby's bottom. I was so excited when I found out there was a baby Aquaphor product. We've been using it with our newborn and it is every bit as good as the adult version. It's effective, not smelly or greasy, and it's gentle on her… read full review »

I was introduced to Aquafore before I even got pregnant.  Then after my pregnancy I found myself using it on my little one for just about everything.  — I was very strict on changing her diapers every 2 hours.  I didn't want her to get a diaper rash.  But one time I had to go into the hospital and 4 days later when I got out she didn't have a diaper rash but was a little red.  The I cleaned her up real well, left her without a diaper for a bit and then appplied the aquafore.  In no time the red was gone and skin was smooth and healthy. — My… read full review »

This stuff is great!  My baby had very dry skin at birth, and her Pediatrician gave me a sample sized tube.  Since using this product, i never had any problems, and my baby's skin has always been beautiful and well protected. I have one very happy baby. Works great in between diaper changes, and you can say goodbye to rashes and excema.  —… read full review »

This was the only thing that helped my baby boy's eczema.  Every kept telling us about different creams and medications they used on their kids.  We brought this up to the doctor and he told us to use this.  Never had a problem with eczema since… read full review »

I'm a mother of two.And a childcare provider. So I have seen more than my fair share of very bad rashes.Have  seen four kids go through teething and you know  how quickly the diaper rash can come about when babies are teething. Aquaphor baby healing ointment is the best thing that has ever been made not just to treat rashes but to really help prevent them.I started useing this product after my son got a rash from formula that did not agree with him.Being a new mom then I went out and bought one of everything they had on the shelf went home and tred them all none of them worked as… read full review »

Yes, it is VERY good in treatment and prevention of diaper rash; but I still have doubts about its retail price. Its price difference from regular petroleum jelly (about 600% price difference) apparently comes from presence of lanolin (greasy organic molecule derived from the greasy coating of raw wool, precursor of vitamin D). However that might not be enough to justify the price difference because I have searched other lanolin and petroleum jelly containing products and there is still about 200%-300% price difference. Now you might say "it's not just presence, the ratio of lanolin to… read full review »

My son is affected by a rare genetic skin disorder that results in skin erosions.  The trauma of birth left him with erosions on his scalp, shoulders, spine, hips, and diaper area.  We started using Aquaphor while he was in the Special Care Nursery at the hospital.  Within days, his skin erosions had healed.  — Not only did the Aquaphor aide his skin in healing, it has also helped to prevent any additional skin breakdown.  — We use the Aquaphor routinely to give him massages and use it on his entire body.  His skin has… read full review »

Well i would ike to say that this oinment is good due to the fact my sister baby had a rash that just wouldnot go away . Decide "hey" maybe we should try this its a bit more but may work better than what we were using . Gues what? it actually made the rash subside .  Seemed to have helped get the rash taken away in just a few uses By day three were shock to see that had completely made the rash almost diappear . I would recommend that some Mom's try it .  … read full review »

I have been using this product on my son since he was 5 months and he is now 14 months.  He had very dry skin and was prone to breaking out in rashes.  The doctor suggested this ointment and we have been using it twice a day and his skin is perfect.  It keeps him well moisturized and very smooth.  We will continue to use this product even though it is pretty expensive to keep our son's skin nice and keep him… read full review »

I love this product!  I got a sample of it when I left the hospital.  After 3 months, my daughter started developing signs of diaper rash.  I immediatley got the aquaphor out and applied it to the chapped areas.  I made sure to use a generous amount.  Anyway, the next morning, the area wasn't chapped anymore.  Aquaphor did the trick, like magic.  I won't buy anything else! —… read full review »

This is the only ointment that worked on my daughters ecsema, I spent tons of money on trying different products to help get rid of it and this was the only thing that worked. It may be pricey but it's WELL worth the money. —  The only downside is that it leaves a greasy spot on her sheets —  Works great on chapped lips for adults too! —… read full review »

We love this stuff for diaper rashes.  At the first hint of redness we put it on my son, and within hours his skin is cleared up.  It's available everywhere, and you can get small tubes for the diaper bag which travel well.  It also works really well on dry feet!  I put it on and then a pair of socks and by morning my feet are soft… read full review »

I love Aquaphor. The pediatrician recommend it to us, and I've been hooked ever since. It is non-greasy and odorless. We live in a very dry climate, and this product moisturizes my kids' skin all day and night. It will soften a dry patch in less than a day! — I have replaced all my petroleum jelly products with Aquaphor, and I'll never go back! —… read full review »
