Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment Jar 14 oz Review

My son is affected by a rare genetic skin disorder that results in skin erosions.  The trauma of birth left him with erosions on his scalp, shoulders, spine, hips, and diaper area.   

We started using Aquaphor while he was in the Special Care Nursery at the hospital.  Within days, his skin erosions had healed. 

Not only did the Aquaphor aide his skin in healing, it has also helped to prevent any additional skin breakdown. 

We use the Aquaphor routinely to give him massages and use it on his entire body.  His skin has remained supple and smooth.  Despite being high risk for skin breakdown, his skin looks great.  In fact, unless you know he has the disorder, you cannot tell any difference between his skin and the skin of an unaffected infant.
