When we first started brushing our children's teeth, we wanted something that would clean their teeth well and prevent cavities, but also that would be safe for them if they accidentally swallowed it. We started using this Aqua fresh training toothpaste, and it has worked well on both sides. Our children have not had any problems with cavities since we started using it for them, and they also have not gotten an upset stomach or any other negative side effects after accidentally swallowing it. Another added bonus is that it seems to have a pleasant and attractive taste. Both of our children got used to it quickly, and they actually wanted to have their teeth brushed so that they could enjoy the taste. This made the jib of brushing their teeth much easier and more enjoyable, and we also knew that we could let them enjoy the taste on their tongue without fear of what would happen to them if they swallowed it.

It is so great to have a kids' toothpaste that doesn't have fluoride on the ingredient list. When my daughter was 3 she went into the bathroom and opened a tube of toothpaste and started brushing her teeth and swallowing it. While it was a kids' toothpaste, it had fluoride in it. Within a few minutes of me catching her she was vomiting every few minutes. It was likely due to the fluoride in the toothpaste. From that point on I started buying fluoride free toothpaste. My kids are now 4 and up but I still use this on them. It is very hard to find adult toothpaste with no fluoride so I just use this for them. Aquafresh training toothpaste is also cheaper than the other brands like Orajel training toothpaste. The kids like the flavor that it comes in too. I tried giving them mint flavored adult fluoride free toothpaste and they hated it. They prefer the fruity flavor of Aquafresh. Over all, this toothpaste is great for kids of all ages. My only complaint is that I wish it came on larger tubes.

Aquafresh Training Toothpaste is something I would recommend for children aged 3-24 months. It is important to brush as soon as possible and this is one of the best training toothpastes that I have come across. The fruity flavor encourages the little ones to brush their teeth or have their teeth brushed by someone else because it has a nice taste to it. Another good thing about this toothpaste is that it is not dangerous if digested and can be used for up to 21 months (as I stated, ages 3-24 months) so you can use the whole tube in that time without much left over, as toddlers do not require a lot of toothpaste on their toothbrushes. This toothpaste is very inexpensive and well worth the small price and short amount of time needed to use this product. It is very beneficial to have kids start brushing their teeth as soon as possible so it becomes a routine they can still use when they are older.

This is a wonderful starter toothpaste for all of the little kids in your life. When they are just starting to get their teeth in, the last thing they need is some strong and harsh tasting toothpaste. This fruity, simple flavor is just what is needed to not turn them off of getting their teeth brushed. It allows you to brush their teeth for a longer period of time because they love the taste. Another thing I like about this Aquafreshing Training Toothpaste is that it is safe when swallowed, but still gets teeth clean. Kids need a lot of time to learn what toothbrushing entails, and they seem to swallow a lot of toothpaste in the process. All in all, this is a great toothpaste to get your children started on. Just buy this and a soft bristled toothbrush and you are good to go! Both of my children have tried this toothpaste, and they both love having their teeth brushed with it!

My daughter loves the taste and does not fight me to brush her teeth with the apple-banana flavor. If only I could get her to spit it out in the end instead of swallowing to practice for the toothpaste with floride.
