Toothpaste is a household essential that many give little thought. Most toothpastes provide the basic protections and even a below average product is still better than nothing at all. But a good product can make a difference and one that we have tried and like is **Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste.** **Toothpaste Commentary:** Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste is a mint- flavored toothpaste with a somewhat different taste than the usual mint toothpaste. The flavor is still minty and it leaves a fresh, clean feeling in the mouth that serves to freshen breath as well as clean the teeth. Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste, like the other products in the Aquafresh "extreme clean" family, is a foaming toothpaste that produces tiny bubbles for a better level of clean. The foaming action does seem to clean better and the product does a good job eliminating stains and plaque. Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste contains fluoride for added protection plus added ingredients for extra whitening. The whitening ability of this product is okay and it does lead to a good overall level of clean. I admit that, if the product was not labeled as a whitening toothpaste, I would not have guessed it was, but I agree that it is still very good at cleaning the teeth. **My Bottom Line Viewpoint:** Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste is a good product from Aquafresh and one of the least expensive nationally- known brands. Its foaming action cleans the teeth well and it leaves the mouth feeling fresh. The mint flavor is different, but it is still good at freshening the mouth and breath and the product overall earns an easy recommendation.

I am reviewing Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste. This is a really great toothpaste and I have noticed that my teeth appear to be a little bit whiter. The toothpaste very much not only makes my teeth feel clean but my whole mouth as well. I brush my teeth twice a day and have been using this product for a couple of mouths now. I work in a job that deals with the public on a daily basis so having a clean good smelling breath is very important to me. I do believe that Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste does the job for me. It is very easy to squirt out onto your toothbrush and does not leave a bad after taste in your mouth. I have used toothpastes in the past where it would take me at least an hour to be about to eat food or drink due to the taste of the toothpaste still in my mouth even after I washed it out. It works very well and isn't priced very high. I have and will continue to recommend this to my friends and family.

ok so i literally just used this toothpaste and I am telling you it does leave your teeth and your mouth feeling mintly cleaned. I can attest for that much about this product claims. As for other things, well we'll see, ecause my dad just bought this tooth paste reccetnly. I don't know if it will actually whiten, I mean when tooth paste companies make claims like that and say they can make your teeth whiter, what do they mean? I mean, compared to what?? Many times, I brush my teeth with a non-whitening tooth paste and something with a whitening one, aand I don't feel or see any difference between the two. I mean the only difference is when I don't brush my teeth at all!! Ok, if I don't brush my teeth for a day, my teeth look significantly less attractive and less white, so I guess using the toothpaste will prevent my teeth from appearing in such a way. otherwise I think the only way to really get white teeth is through some hardcore treatments.

This is one of my favorite toothpastes of all time. There are so many things about I love and like about it. One of them involves the taste. Unlike many teeth whitening products, the taste of this is sweet and minty. After using it, your mouth feels fresh and clean. Another thing I like about this product is that it actually does what it says it will do. Although it took me awhile to get whiter teeth from it, I ulitmately did have my teeth a few shades lighter than what is was from just using this product. However, I must say I did not get a dramatic change from using the product for a few months. But it definitely whitens your teeth to some small degree at least. Another thing I like about this product is how it is not too pricey compared to other teeth whitening products. I also really like how this product gets rid of bad breath and gives breath a minty aroma after you have used it to brush your teeth.

This toothpaste is one of two brands that I buy frequently.  It has a nice clean taste, although if it was up to me I wouldn't have done the orange-esque flavor.  Brushing is pleasant with it, the foaming is nice.  Spitting it out and rinsing, afterwards I feel like I have a clean mouth and there is no noticeable plaque on my teeth if I spend enough time brushign (at least two minutes is recommended).  I also use an electric toothbrush with a relatively small head on the brush so I use less toothpaste.  Teeth feel clean and look whiter than before brushing so I am very satisfied.  The price on this was also extremely reasonable at the local supermarkets, I'm not sure about the prices on online retailers such as amazon though.  It should last me a few months, I don't really keep track of my toothpaste usage but I do know that tubes don't get used up that quickly.  Either way, it's an okay product.

Aquafresh extreme clean whitening toothpaste is great at leaving your mouth feeling fresh and clean.  Because it foams so much as you are brushing, you feel like you are getting lots of areas of your mouth clean.  The fresh breath lasts for a while after using it.  I have been using this toothpaste twice a day for two weeks now and haven't noticed my teeth getting any whiter.  The biggest difference I have noticed is that my mouth and breath feel fresher. I would definitely recommend this toothpaste for general dental hygiene based on its taste and the feeling of freshness it leaves.  As a whitener, I would not recommend it since I haven't noticed any difference in the whiteness of my teeth.  Price-wise, it is comparable to any other whitening toothpaste.  Because I have only been using it for a few weeks, I can't speak to it's ability to prevent cavities.    Overall, I like using it and will continue to do so in the future.

The name "Extreme Clean" is no exageration when it comes to this toothpaste. Even though I will purchase other types of toothpaste if I can get a great deal on them, this is the only toothpaste I will purchase for traveling.

I bought this toothpaste for the first time a few years ago because it was on sale and I wanted a new whitening toothpaste. I had no idea what I was missing using other products - this toothpaste is great! It is so minty and really freshens my breath, while whitening my teeth! Whenever guests come over and borrow it the write the name down so they can go buy themselves a tube of it also. I accidently tried to take it through airport security on my last trip and was so bummed that I had to throw it away! This product usually comes in a double-pack which is a great value. My husband is hooked on it now too and always requests it. Now when I switch back to what I refer to as "normal" toothpaste I feel like it isn't nearly as fresh as this one and doesn't leave my mouth feeling nearly as clean. The taste is good if you can handle intense mint. I think it may be a little strong for children, but perfect for adults.

I really feel the need to review this Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste for you if only to share what I think about how in many ways it is a decent toothpaste, but not really a teeth whitening product. I always use Aquafresh toothpaste and have been doing so since I was a child since it does a good job at cleaning the teeth as any good toothpaste will. But I recently became interested in teeth whitening products, and because of the cost I wanted to try a low budget change first. That change i made was with Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste. Over the course of two months, I took weekly pictures of my smile after changing to this product because I wanted to see if it would have any impact on the "whiteness" of my teeth. Sadly, on its own, Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening Toothpaste does not provide significant whitening to the teeth. based upon my photographic evidence, I and others could not tell the difference between day one of this and six weeks into the use of the product. As a result, I do not recommend this as anything other than a standard toothpaste for cleaning the teeth and preventing cavities!

I've tried this toothpaste several times in the past, and I do like it.  It has consistent foaming action that, for me, is very important.  Any toothpaste that losses its foam after about a minute is just a bad toothpaste.  A good foam is what makes your mouth feels clean.  In any case, I do like this toothpaste because of the clean minty afterfeel, which does stay for quite a bit.  However, I must take away one star because it's a little strong for me.  Perhaps it's because I have a sensitive mouth, but when I brush for too long using this toothpaste, the lining on the inside side of my mouth starts to peel, and makes it a little raw.  That's the one thing that really bothers me.  Aside from that, I have no other complaints.  As for the whitening aspect, to be honest, I didn't see a difference, but that doesn't bother me because I have no unrealisitc exceptations.  Brushing takes about 2 to 3 minutes... how white can you really get your teeth in that time frame.  I mean, most teeth whitening stripes ask to you apply them for half an hour a day for 2 weeks.  Overall, I recommend this product for the reasons stated above.
