Aquafina Purifying Daily Cleanser Review

WOW.  WOW.  WOW.

I freely admit that I am not one of those people who ever reaches the goal of 8-10 glasses of water a day.  I'd venture to guess I don't attain that in a month, even with dedicated effort. 

When I think Aquafina, I think bottled water and not much else.  This facial cleanser has changed my mind.  Aquafina apparently wants its customers to feel and look good inside and out!

Facial cleansers and I generally don't get along; they either have ingredients which make me break out like a teenager, or they just leave my face feeling ickier than it did before I washed.  This Aquafina cleanser gets high marks from me in every regard.

My favorite facial cleanser--it's the one that comes with the L'Oreal kit I've previously reviewed--is not available by itself.  I ran out of the cleanser some time ago and was fearful I wouldn't find a replacement that was compatible with the L'Oreal Acne kit I love so dearly.

Aquafina's foaming cleanser has to be one of the best, most refreshing cleansers I've ever used.  It takes a mere 2-3 pumps of the product to do a wonderfully thorough job.  The cleanser lathers up very quickly with no effort.  And once you get it on your face--OH BOY!  The cleanser is very refreshing and cooling...if you want a treat for your face on a hot summer day, Aquafina's foaming cleanser ought to be your only choice.

Many purifying cleansers overstrip and dry out your skin in their quest to get your face extra clean, but we all know that an overly aggressive cleanser causes more problems than it solves.  Aquafina removes face funk and makeup very well, and your face will feel clean and refreshed when you're done.  Your face will not be tight or sting.  What you will feel is clean, smooth skin with no residue.

As a lifelong acne sufferer, I can't use just anything on my face.  Though this product does contain alcohol, it doesn't suck every ounce of natural oil from my skin, which is a huge plus.  It's a gentle cleanser that works best for dry or troubled skin like mine.  Of course, if you are blessed with a balanced complexion, you'll still enjoy this cleanser.

One thing that I hope will change:  it's not easy to find.  Neither my local Wal-Mart or Target carry this fantastic find.  In fact, the only place I have found it locally is in the grocery store.  It's very affordable (less than $5), and since it is so well-formulated, you won't be using a lot--unless, of course, you just really like the cleanser and want to wash all the time! 

My favorite part of my morning routine is using this cleanser.  I actually look forward to my daily skin regimen because of this excellent product.
