I just tried Applebatch and it is a great networking site for teachers. I can get everything I need all on one website. I can talk to other teachers, look at lesson plans and other teaching materials, and get great discounts from my favorite stores. This site is also only for teachers so I don't have to worry about asking questions that parents or students would see.
Fantastic if you enjoy teacherlingo.com, teachers.net and other online communities for teachers K-12. It also has a large database of job listings in education.
What initially attracted me to www.applebatch.com was when I heard it had the largest database for education jobs in the country. What kept me going back were all the other resources it has to offer. I liked the ability to look up teacher conferences and communicate with other teachers. I'm really looking forward to sharing my experiences and hearing about others.
Applebatch is a great tool for any teacher. It has resources that come striaght from teachers and they are all very helpful. Best of all the site is free. I know, being a teacher myself, how hard it is living with a small budget. This website is very good for offering a free service and I think all teachers should give it a try.
I was really impressed when I joined Applebatch for the first time. I decided to join when looking for a job and have been continually impressed with the tools it has to offer. Once I get that teaching position I'm hoping for I look forward to sharing resources and ideas with other educators!
Applebatch is truly an amazing teacher community and it is also safe and free. It has a ton of useful resources for all subject areas. I have also been able to network through the site, find colleagues, and meet new teachers in the area. It also offers forums and blogs to fit a number of interests, as well as an extensive job database. I signed up with Applebatch a few weeks ago and have found some great lesson plans that I plan to use with my 6th grade English class.
Applebatch.com is great! The teacher network website was recommended to me from a fellow colleague and I have been addicted to it ever since. I have been using the discussion forums to connect to other teachers in my area. Also, the resources, lesson plans and fun classroom ideas have been amazing! It is such a good way to stay connected to the teacher community and find out what other educators are doing in the classroom.
