I honestly never really figured out what all the "fuss" was about with Mp3 players, not to mention Ipods. For me, if I want music it is all around me, I simply turn on the radio or a music channel or listen to music streaming on-line.  But I recently got a chance at life with the Ipod Touch and Wow, you almost can't stop touching this portable media player. 

The Ipod touch has tons of features and I doubt I could list them any better than oharrydon did in his review.  But I will list some of my favorites features on the Ipod Touch:

Apple's 8 GB Ipod Touch is an amazing tool to use. After downloading Apple's ITunes, the Ipod was very easy to use. The Ipod has a large screen to see movies and info being shown while watching film clips on YouTube also.

The Ipod also allows you to download countless applications, such as Facebook, YouTube, and a large variety of games. Downloading and viewing movies on the Ipod is easy to do too.

Apple also has fast Wi-Fi internet. The Wi-Fi internet is very crisp and fast, but still has a couple small quirks in the network. The internet and a couple of the applications freeze sometime but is...

I am NOT an ipod virgin, as this is my 3rd (my DH also has a Zune and the kids have the small no-name ones because they cannot be trusted with the real thing!) and I love this thing!

My DH and kids got it for me for my birthday because I was watching video on the tiny nano screen and I have had it now for about 5 weeks and it is the best gift ever!

I love that I can watch video on a decent sized screen AND that I can just turn it sideways and view things widescreen.  That is pretty close to the best feature ever.  I also like that I can download all the apps for the iphone onto this as well. ...

I can't go anywhere (in public) without my iPod Touch! It's got all of my favorite songs in it, as well as videos, games, pictures to keep me entertained wherever I go. It's like having a pocket sized computer basically. I love how you can use wifi to go online and check emails. This has to be the best Apple product for MP3 players to date. Its very interactive and easy to use. Just tap on the program you want to use, and its cute how there is a mini touch screen keyboard to type. It's even got a calculator to help you do some math if that's not your best subject. This is as close to an iPhone...

like the ipod touch because it offers so much features then other mp3 player out there.

8GB iPod Touch:

The iPod touch is a device hard to categorize, and even harder to find out if it's right for you. it shares the OS (if you're willing to pay an extra 10 dolars + tax for the 3.0 upgrade) the apps and the wifi with the iPhone. Otherwise it is a little bit thinner, and lacks the GPS, the camera and of course the phone (which means no internal mic). However, it does have an internal speaker. As far as being a useful device, it has all of the iphone's calendar and communication features, which makes it extremely useful if you have consistent access to wifi networks. The good: The Apple iPod Touch has a large screen which is easy to read and easy to control. You can play music, video, read books, surf the net with Wi-Fi Internet, e-mail, and download music. There are also thousand of apps you can install to educate, have fun, whatever interests you. Its also light weight and looks great.

The bad: The iPod Touch 8 G is pricey for the extra features. It has blue tooth but you need to upgrade the os to 3.0 to use it. So, you got blue tooth built but yoju can;t use, which sucks.  Upgrade costs 9.99.

With 8 g space I can't hold a equal part music...

My daughter wanted an Apple Ipod Touch 8GB for Christmas this year because all of her friends at school have one and she thought it would be fun. She was so excited about getting one that she saved up her birthday money and was able to buy it early! We are all learning how to download some songs and games, movies will be a little later. I bought this IPOD Touch as a replacement to my bulky portable DVD player.  Although it is light weight, when traveling it is too much to carry along wit DVD's etc.  I travel often to visit friends & family & am sometimes in the airports for very long periods at a time, so I wanted something very light weight with no bulky extras.  This was perfect!  I Love it so much & really like the fact that i can touch the screen just with my finger which means no stylis pen to loose.  Well to my surprise it even has wiifi and & was able to get internet access from the airports, how cool is that?  And...

Wowza, the IPod Touch is the greatest Ipod yet! It allows you to download so many different apps that can do so many various things. I personally use it a lot for the notes; they help me remember what to do throughout the day. Also, I am a college student so as on any campus, there is Wi-Fi, so I highly recommend to students.
