Apple - iPod touch (8 GB, 2000 Songs) Digital Media Player (MA623LL/A) Review

My daughter wanted an Apple Ipod Touch 8GB for Christmas this year because all of her friends at school have one and she thought it would be fun. She was so excited about getting one that she saved up her birthday money and was able to buy it early! We are all learning how to download some songs and games, movies will be a little later. My daughter was able to download a song by herself and she is only 10, so this aludes to the fact that the Apple Ipod Touch is easy to use. She loves playing the games too.

And another great point is that there is a lot of content available for free, so while the initial investment of around $200 may seem a little pricey to some, the long-term is that my child gets hours of entertainment for little or no additional cost. The battery life is very short though. She was able to connect wirelessly for the first time and send us an email, she was so thrilled about that. We did notice a problem with one of the apps or games. She was able to download a Guitar Hero type of game and play it for a while, but now it requires an Internet connection which she does not have access to most of the time, so this is not good.
