iPod Nano, 8G, Purple; I got mine as a rebuild, it was a gift to go with the Nike+ Sensor (I also wrote a review on that.)  I have to say it is a handy thing to have.  It is small, compact, light and easy to walk with.  I travel a lot and my cell phone battery doesn't last long so having an MP3 player, my Nano is nice and I usually have to charge it every other day to every two days.  There are also games on it and you can store photos and videos.  I haven't watched videos on it but I hear it drains the battery life quickly.   And I thought it just played music.

When I walk or run I use the Nike+ Sensor and have yet to find an arm band that fits the Nano when the receiver is plugged into the bottom.  That is a little annoying but I just turn it upside down and live with it. The screen flips when you flip the Nano around so that isn't a problem.  The sound is great and I am picky about sound.  I go to live concerts and use to sing myself so I can be a little judgmental.  The screen is easy to see and also clear and crisp.  I of course love the color and it is neat that it comes in so many.  You are bound to be able to get one in your favorite color.

I got my rebuilt Nano for $99.00 compared to a brand new one for $150.00.  You can sometimes find rebuilds on the Apple website for $79.  They have a 16G one that is over $200 new and about $150 rebuilt.

I have heard from other that they have had constant problems with syncing to iTunes and having to reboot the Nano.  I have only had it happen to me once and it was a simple fix and I believe it happened because I didn't disconnect it from the computer correctly.  The annoying thing for me is that when plugged into my Dell Vostro 1000 my laptop won't boot up when the Nano is plugged into the USB port.  I have to unplug the USB cable and then start my computer.  Strange but I have learned to live with it and just check the cable.  I didn't have the same problem when I borrowed a friends Apple so it could just be a fault between Dell and Nano.

All in all I LOVE this toy I use it all the time and one of the best gifts yet!
