I have the 80GB version and just love it!  I use it in the car with an adapter for commercial-free music I choose, while I'm running, and to watch movies, TV shows, and music videos.  iTunes is an unbelibly easy program to use, so anyone can use it.  Buy it now, you won't regret it!

I cannot say enough about the apple ipod from clear videos to the outstanding sound. If I were to change anything it would be the headphones, I have to replace them every 6 months but my Apple Ipod is worth it. I watch video's every night as well as listen to music from You Tube and iTunes. You don't have to purchase video's you can save them to bookmarks and watch them anytime you have an internet connection, or if you love music you can download anything you like as it has mega space!

With Apple's iPod classic coming in memory ranges of 80GB to160GB and the more recent 120GB, you might find yourself struggling with the decision of howmuch memory you really need.
Because, howmuch do you really need? Even on the low end of a 80GB memory hard drive, the iPod will provide enough storage space to fill; more than you will ever be able to listen to. But hey, who uses the iPod as an mp3 player nowadays anyway? It's all about the visuals and free audio/video (not to mention purchasable) content, of which there is a never-ceasing, overwhelmingly large influx.
So unless you're looking to...

Okay, I am a LATE adopter.  I waited, I waited and then I waited some more to crawl into the 21st century.  But I must say to my other Luddites, take the leap.  I had a collection of nearly 1500 cds....er....pre-divorce.   I have loved loading this collection onto my iPod and rediscovering music I rarely listened to.  I have been able to sell my collection back to a local used "record" store and recoup the price of the iPod, the price of a 250 GB back up drive, the price of my iPod charger AND the price of an inexpensive iPod docking station (not from Apple).

 I love making Playlists for...

My first ipod was one of the first generation ones and I never thought I’d be as happy with anything else.   Several of my friends and family have various generations of the nanos and they weren’t what I was looking for.  When my original ipod died I needed a replacement so I bought the classic for its large storage capacity and larger screen.   I should have bought it long ago.

The storage capacity alone is worth the price….which not comparably much more than the nano for the extra 75-160 odd GB you get.  Last I checked I have 23 solid days worth of music on it and its not even half...

This new invention literally kills boardum. This is also one of the many reason why I love the Ipod. This thing is so cool it's just rediclous.I wish I had these when I was like twelve because it just does so many things. On Ipod you can download your favorite songs all day, and notice I said download. You don't have to pay for you favorite songs because you can download them off your computer straight to your Ipod. If you think thats something think again because the new Ipod also plays movies like whole movies and I find that amazing. Just year back we couldn't bearly could watch Vhs Dvd...

I had a Sansa Fuse which would just cut out and stop  working whenever. I was so happy when I got my iPod. I had learned from previous errors in judging storage capacity so I got the 160gb to alleviate the problem.

Synching to my MacBook is easy. Genius makes playlist building so easy. I can take this on a road trip and listen to music for hours. Battery goes on forever. Easy to access the music/scroll. I like the additional features like the alarms and games. I still have so much more space I can't wait to keep filling it up.

One thing though is that I can't take an artist/album and program random...

Are you a gotta-have-it-all kinda person?  The 80 gig ipod still didnt have enough memory left for you to fit all of your thousands of songs? Well look no further because the ipod 160 gig has hit the shelves and its flying right back off of them... Introducing the best non-touch ipod so far... with 160 gigs of memory!!  No more "i cant fit my music onto my ipod type stuff"  because this one ipod will last you your whole life... ok at least till another cooler ipod is invented and released...If you "need your space", this is the ipod for you!

I love my ipod. I have my entire music collection, which is huge b/c I'm a dj, and there is still tons of room left. I also have some audio books on my ipod that I bought at the itunes store. It's easy to used, the wheel is very responsive and works great for scrolling through. The screen is a bit small but I still enjoy watching videos on my ipod. The sound is great too.

The Apple iPod classic Black (160GB) is a all around great MP3 player the videos good, the picture is good and good sound. The only bad thing is the screen gets screached easily but that can be fix by buying a screen protector and a case. the reason i say get a case is so if you do drop it. then it wont get scared on the back of the mp3 player.

For the iPod it's great.  It holds a ton of things, I wish searchin was a little easier, but I still love it.  My Brother loves to watch videos on the iPod and you can hear it just fine with headphones or without headphones.  So, if you need a great MP3 player than don't hesitate!  Go and buy an iPod!

Apple Ipod classic Black is a great product I still can't believe such small devices hold so much.   I have more music in this than I can imagine.  Great sound quality.  Wonderful product design.
