 I purchased the new Apple iPod Classic 80GB when it was only a few weeks old. At first I was very impressed with the new look of the face (matte instead of shiny). Unfortunately, the new look hasn't done anything to keep the screen from being as easy to scratch as ever. The mirror finish on the back is also easily damaged by simple things like putting it in your pocket. This has caused me to have to purchase a somewhat expensive ($10) plastic case to put it in.

Over the years I tried to get all my favorite music into something manageable.  The old vinyl records take a lot of space and had a lot of problems.  Then the cassette tapes would melt in the heat of the car.    And then CD's arrived, great sound and a lot of space to record many songs on it.  The CD's made managing my music easy. The problem was having to change the CD's.

Then I got an Apple IPOD that allowed me to put thousand of songs on it.  I downloaded over 2,000 songs and still have space.  The IPOD program is simple to use and manage.

This is the best ipod in market right now. There is no competitor for apple ipods in the market. many products have been launched by many companies in this category but nothing comes up any where near to this product by apple. Also, being a 80 GB capacity IPOD it is very slick in its class. Also, it has a good video quality.
