Over the years I tried to get all my favorite music into something manageable. The old vinyl records take a lot of space and had a lot of problems. Then the cassette tapes would melt in the heat of the car. And then CD's arrived, great sound and a lot of space to record many songs on it. The CD's made managing my music easy. The problem was having to change the CD's.
Then I got an Apple IPOD that allowed me to put thousand of songs on it. I downloaded over 2,000 songs and still have space. The IPOD program is simple to use and manage.
I can set up the IPOD with folders for each genre and I was able to add two Apple NANO's to the program and it can tell the difference between the hardware. Updating the IPOD is as simple as plugging it in to the computer.
What I like best about the IPOD is the capability to download audio books in it and listen to it on long trips. I can listen to the entire book without having to change CD's. Great little device.
