I got my ipod about 3 years ago and have loved it since. It's well worth the $300 you pay for it. It comes with an adapter for the computer so that's a benefit. I would defintiely buy another ipod, and actually have as gifts. I think everyone should have one.

The cons are that for every other accessory you have to purchase them and they can be a little pricey, though I find places with these items marked down. They do scratch easily so I suggest a case to cover them. Even so you can put tons of pictures, movies, and music on them and the screen is clear and has full, vibrant color. Battery life...

This iPod is definetly the best product that I have ever bought from Apple. They are known for their high quality and having the newest technology and this delivers. I bought my 80 Gb Ipod video five years ago and I have never had a problem with it. I have (unintentionally) dropped, chipped, and scratched it with no ill effects. It plays videos and movies well (though I would recomend a charger that you an use while watching so that you do not run your batteries down). I was a little skeptical about using it for video, ect. because the screen was so small bu quickkly found that I hardly saw a difference....

When it comes to the 30G video iPod, you really don't need anything else.  Sure, there are much larger capacity iPods out there now, but I don't really want my whole entire music library on my iPod.  If I have too much music on it, it's nearly impossible to decide what to listen to.  It doesn't have applications or anything like the new iTouch does, but it's old school and simple, and it does what I want it to do.  I don't really use the photo feature, but the video is nice when I'm waiting somewhere and want to watch a part of a tv episode to keep myself entertained.  All in all, a great...
