I love my ipod!  At work it is great for drowning out background noise and conversations.  Punk rock music is perfect for the gym it keeps me moving.  An ipod is a wonderful travel companion on planes or trains.  Perfect for those times when you are in a room with others and do not want to disturb them with your music.  It definitely beats the old days of dragging a bunch of CDs around and hoping they don't skip!
