The recent rage of Cell Phone land is, yes, that often mentioned, earth shattering invention known as the iPhone. For a LOT of people that device became the device of choice, however, for many of us, we could not bring ourselves to move to AT&T, even for the greatest thing from Cupertino since, well, the Mac itself.

Love it. Exactly what I wanted, the iphone without the phone or associated monthly fees. I have a cell phone from work and don't need another and can't justify the monthly expense. But I wanted the iphone as a gadget geek.

Out of the box, the features are crippled by design. Why not the same apps as the iphone -- google maps, etc? Well with a simple hack you can get all the iphone apps plus im, rss, and everything else the iphone currently doesnt have that it should. Definitely recommended, especially if you plan to jailbreak it.

I went with  my husband to pick out an ipod as my xmas gift. We bought the apple ipod touch cause the buttons were big enough for my husband to use also,since most ipods have tiny little buttons. The one main button is large enough and the rest is one by touching the screen with is great for many people. The amount of storage that you can use is tremendous. We have tons of songs and a few videos on it. You are able to listen to your music while doing other things on it, like using the internet.      I received an I Pod Touch for my birthday was amazed at all that it could do! I am very technically challenged and was blown away by how easy and fun that it turned out to be. The I Touch has every form of entertainment that you can imagine. You canload it with games, movies, music, and application's that specifically fit your life and needs.

     There are a tremendous amount of application's that you can load onto your I Pod Touch, for example: a star gazing map that will help to identify the constellation's, a first aid guide to help you in an emergency, a dictionary, video games,...

I purchased the Ipod touch a few months back.  I have to say I absolutely love it!!  Its easy to use and fun to play with.  I like electronics that you don't have to do much reading to figure them out. And this is definitely one of them.  I love how easy the applications are to download, one of my favs is the Shopping list.  If you are the grocery shopper in the family I highly recommend using this application.  I'm still discovering all the possibilities with this gadget, but so far I'm a fan and will stick with this Ipod.

The 1st gen is old now. The 2nd has a lot of the features I wish mine has. It's missing volume controls and maybe it could be a bit cheaper. Good quality though. Very nice for viewing videos and pictures.
I guess this review won't be much use since the 2nd gen. is cheaper and has more features.. looks better too.

I have the first generation Itouch, which I've been using for about 8 months...and I have to say since I got it, I can't live without it!! I use it everyday, and can't imagine not having it. I love the fact that I can have most of the features of an Iphone, without the spendy phone contract. The free wifi feature is amazing...I'm able to use it all over town. Apple- I-Touch 3rd Generation 32 gb

I previously owed a shuffle.  All I cared about was putting some music on a devise so I could work out to it or mow with it.  However a girlfriend has an earlier model and I was intrigued...Then Apple brought out the 3rd Generation of the i-touch and I fell in love!

The ipod Touch is the answer for anyone wanting to access the internet as easily as they access music.  It finds wifi, even as I drive at normal speeds down city roads, and connects instantly, providing me with near perfect internet pages.  With all my favorite pages shortcutted on the desktop, navigating quickly is a snap.

My mom took pity on my super desire for the iPod Touch and bought me one!  Wow, it is all that and a bag of chips!   It has EVERYTHING that anyone could want.  The apps that advertise for the iPhone will work on this baby too!  (Well, except for the one's that actually need the phone part).

The Ipod Touch is one of the BEST things I have ever bought. It is more than just a music player for me. There are all kinds of apps and things that I can download (a lot are free) and I can do just about anything with it. I have games, I keep track of the food I eat, I can check my email, my Facebook page, it has an awesome calculator. The Ipod Touch is extremely easy to use. It comes with several useful apps pre installed, and there are plenty of free apps available in the apple app store.  You can use the Touch for almost anything that you can think of, from browsing the net,checking stocks, checking the weather or news, playing games, myspace, online radio, youtube, or just watching your own video.
