Love it. Exactly what I wanted, the iphone without the phone or associated monthly fees. I have a cell phone from work and don't need another and can't justify the monthly expense. But I wanted the iphone as a gadget geek. — Out of the box, the features are crippled by design. Why not the… read full review »

I bought my ipod touch with my rebate check. At the time I knew that I was going to be using it a lot because I have ADHD and music is very soothing to me and my new-ish position at work is kind of stressful. — — For about 5 days it worked. But over time the upload time started getting… read full review »

The recent rage of Cell Phone land is, yes, that often mentioned, earth shattering invention known as the iPhone. For a LOT of people that device became the device of choice, however, for many of us, we could not bring ourselves to move to AT&T, even for the greatest thing from Cupertino since, well, the Mac itself. — For the rest of us, there is the iPod Touch. This non iPhone clone is all the iPodish goodess of the phone without the celluar contracts. It boasts the same size screen but comes in at almost half as thick as its iPhone big brother. It has Audio and Video… read full review »

The ipod Touch is the answer for anyone wanting to access the internet as easily as they access music.  It finds wifi, even as I drive at normal speeds down city roads, and connects instantly, providing me with near perfect internet pages.  With all my favorite pages shortcutted on the desktop, navigating quickly is a snap. Music and video are equally satisfying.  The videos that come with it are very good, and downloading them is a snap.  Some videos are offered for free on itunes!  Shuffling through albums is like going through my cd cases. and the… read full review »

I've had my itouch for about 3 months and I don't know what I ever did without it.  I'm a new grandma and I would need at least 10 brag books to carry around all the pictures of my grandchild that I have loaded on my itouch.  I have transfered my entire cd collection onto it and have all my music at my finger tips.  I am just learning how to purchase and download music from itunes and have found it to be very easy. It also holds all my contacts and has a calculator built in to use at the grocery store.  I love… read full review »

I have been anti-iPod for a very long time.  I just never saw the appeal of Apple, Macs, iPods or anything having to do with Apple, Macs or iPods... until I saw the Touch.  — When I first saw the iPhone, I fell in love, but my contract for a new phone isn't for another year.  Enter the Touch. — The Touch is everything the iPhone is without the phone.  There may be a few other missing bells and whistles, but overall the Touch encompasses everything the iPhone would without the cell coverage. — Memory:  I purchased the 8G Touch and I still have memory… read full review »

I love electronic toys.  I do not love cellular telephones.  I don't like being THAT accessible.  I love music and I love having my music portable and accessible. — The iPod Touch is generally the iPhone without the phone.  I realize that's a generalization and there are other features the iPhone has, that the Touch does not, but that's a quick and dirty description of the Touch. — The feature I like most about the Touch is the WiFi connection and Safari browser.  If you're in WiFi range your Touch is web capable.  If you've read that email on the… read full review »

Apple did it again! The Ipod touch is by far the best portable media player money can buy. Actually calling it just a media player is an understatement. The device is a true piece of art starting from the attractive design which looks very similar to the iPhone, but almost twice slimmer. The user interface is very innovative featuring the "multi touch" technology which is very intuitive and easy to use. Menus are very user friendly with impressive graphics specially for scrolling your picture, video or music albums. — The device comes with built in Wifi for internet browsing, and is… read full review »

First, I've been an iPod user since the original 5 gig model. And I've been a PDA users since the Handspring Palm-based models. — As far as the iPod touch goes? Best. iPod. Ever. And now that Apple has the App Store to complement the music and videos available on the online iTunes Store...quite possibly the best PDA ever. Especially now that ereader.com has an ebook reader for this device...it never leaves my pocket at work or out on the go! — Obviously  the touchscreen interface is stunning and incredibly user friendly. Its beautiful, responsive, and utterly easy to use. The… read full review »

This past Christmas my husband and I decided we were going to buy our 15 year old son a new ipod. He has had an ipod nano for two years and it was full! At first, we purchase the new ipod nano with video watching capabilities. When my husband brought it home, the screen was so small, there was no way you watch anything. We changed our minds and purchased the ipod touch. The look Christmas morning was worth the little bit extra we paid for the ipod touch. From the moment he opened the box, everything has been positive. The ipod touch is extremely user friendly (even for mom's that are… read full review »

I purchased the ipod touch as a Christmas present and was amazed at the capabilities of the newest ipod. The screen is very awesome and the amount of music that the ipod touch can hold is quite amazing. It is very easy to find music in the alphabetical list of artists, songs, or albums. The ability to simply touch the screen is phenomenal and the first of its kind in mp 3 players. I would recommend this ipod touch to anyone who likes to listen to music because this ipod stays charged for a very, very long period of time and it holds 8 gigs of music or video. Another added feature to the… read full review »

Touch comes to iPod. Introducing iPod touch. iPod touch features the same revolutionary interface as iPhone. Built to take full advantage of the large 3.5-inch display, the multi-touch interface lets you control everything using only your fingers. So you can glide through albums with Cover Flow, flick through photos and enlarge them with a pinch, or zoom in and out on a section of a web page. And iPod touch features a touchscreen QWERTY keyboard perfect for browsing the web in Safari, searching for videos on YouTube, finding music on the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store, or adding new contacts. … read full review »

Well this is the best ipod ever!!! — — The screen is clear. It like having a iphone with out the camera and the phone and the huge bill you get with having an iphone. I love it everyone at work just like playing with it. I like when I am out at a store I can just pull it up and check the net with the wi-fi connection. — — I just wish i could sometimes put a sometype of keyboard on the thing. I am sorry for those people who got the iphone first cause I fell for the total cost of ownership that the Ipod touch is better if you do not want a cell phone contract.… read full review »

I had to take back my first iPod Touch when it stopped allowing me to type certain letters on the touchscreen. The people at the iPod store in Dallas (where I returned it, I bought it at the one on Michigan Ave, in Chicago), were VERY nice. No questions asked, just basically printed out a new receipt and handed me my sparkling new Touch. — Now, that one incident aside, I haven't really had any bad problems with it. I would give it a five-star rating, but sometimes the 180 degree rotation of the screen sometimes either pauses, or actually doesn't happen at all. I have to rotate it back… read full review »

This product Is what you would expect from apple it's a great value! The touch screen on this device is amazing it is so clear on videos and very responsive. The Internet browser shrinks all the web pages that you visit to look just like they do on your computer. And you might think that would be dificult to view full size websites on that small screen but all you have to do Is double tap the area of the website you want to view and it will zoom in on that part of the website. It also has very clear music playback and smooth video playback. Other things this device has is a planner, contacts,… read full review »
