My husband bought me an ipod touch for my birthday. I hardly use it because it is a pain in the butt. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't work. Sometimes it connects to my computer, sometimes it doesn't. Its reset on me twice and I lost all my apps (even the ones i paid for) and music and had to re-upload it all. And apparently the battery dies even when you're not using it. Its sitting on my dresser collecting dust becuase the battery is dead and it won't connect to my computer to charge. Even when i'm around free wi-fi service, it doesn't connect, so I don't believe I have EVER used the web browser. Typing is a nightmare. It automatically finishes words for you so that when you are typing "the" it will automatically finish the word and type in "teh" and the only way to fix it is to type "t" space "h" space ect and backspace all the letters together. And don't even think about trying to type with your tumbs. The touch thinks i'm pressing two keys at once. The only thing i've used it for is watching movies on an airplane. the screen is small but has nice resolution. I can watch about a movie and a half before the battery gives out. To me, that seems reasonable. I love Apple, and am sad to say that I am dissapointed. :( I have a blackberry now and have had much better luck with that. I feel like my husband wasted his money. :( the apple iphone seems much more practical to me than an ipod.
