Apple - iPod Shuffle Second Gen. Silver (1 GB) MP3 Player Review

"But Mooooooooooom, everyone has a real ipod."

Everyone?  Where are the everyones in my social circle that can afford to spend $140 on 3 kids when Wal-Mart has something that looks similar to me for 39.95?

This argument went on in our household for almost a year.  Apparently, someone working for ipod heard my children's whines from across the country and made the affordable shuffle.  Sams had them for $40 this past spring.  Now, each child has his or her own color.  (I highly recommend the color coding for as many of your children's products as you can manage.  You will thank me when they are teenagers)

After a few inital bumps in downloading and learning to use the itunes software, we now have a happier (and quieter) household thanks to the ipod shuffle.  They might not have screens, but it is the "name" everyone wants, and Grandma now likes to send itunes gift cards for birthdays.
