Apple - iPod Shuffle Second Gen. Silver (1 GB) MP3 Player Review

I bought this IPod for my daughter when she was 6. It was a great first mp3 player. IT clips right on her clothes making it difficult to lose. She is now 9 and it still using it almost daily. We have had to replace the headphones several times. We like this better than the newer shuffles. There are just fewer parts to fall apart.

You cannot use the headphones that come with it for small children as the earbuds do not fit in their ears. We purchased some that have a band arounfd the back of the head and hang on her ears. 

We love that we can set and lock the volume so she cannot turn it up too high.

My husband also has this in a blue newer version and he takes it to work and listens to books on it.

My daughter also has ADD and we use this in noisy restaurants as steady noise agitates her, so this helps us get thru meals.

I highl recommend this for anyone with kids as a first mp3 player!!!!
