Our very generous son-in-law gave my husband (and me) and iPod for the holidays. (I got a new computer!) We love our Apple iPod Photo (60 GB) MP3 Player (M9830LL/A). This was our first venture into MP3 players and I was scared to use it at first!

I love my iPod but i want to get a new iPod touch. I loved this iPod when i first got it. Now its outdated with the iPod touch which you can watch movies, tv and surf the internet. I was told that Apple has good customer services from many people, until I had to experienced it on my own. I bought the ipod 60g and requested for it to be engraved and I also paid for the 2 day shipping. It turn out 4 days later, the product still hasn't arrived to me and so I called and ask the why. They told me it was their mistake and that they will take the 2 days shipping rate off of my statement and give me a $50 incentive to their store because it was their mistake. I also asked for my full amount to be refunded and i'll send the item back since I won't be in the country to received... read full review »

A great gift for anyone you love! Smart. Holds lots of music and movies. It hooks wonderfully to a tuner in the car for on the go travel music.

I can't live without my iPod! I use it everyday. iTunes is pretty user-friendly so even people who aren't too comfortable with computers can use it easily. You can make playlists for the gym, sleeping, etc. I have a wide selection of songs and audiobooks so it's perfect for commuting or long trips. The battery life is pretty good. It's gotten soaking wet in the rain but it still works well. The only problem is that if you use all 60GB, you risk a higher chance of having your iPod hard drive crash. It's happened to me once before and to a lot of my friends so I wouldn't say it's as rare as Apple...

The iPod has become a standard for all MP3 players. I had the Diamond Rio back in the day (hey it only held 12 songs!) and didn't upgrade until the iPod came along. I reclucantly bought it even though I'm not a fan of Apple. I've never gotten remotely close to filling the memory but have found that the battery dies after a few hours. I wanted to get it for use on long flights but because of the short battery life I have stopped taking it with me.

I use my ipod all the time, I've tried out other friend's mp3 players and I just really love the way an ipod works in comparison to anyother mp3 player. Also, there is so much space on it! I have a very large music collection so I was a bit worried about not having enough space, with this ipod I definately have enough space! I've also had two other kinds of ipods (the old shuffle and the old mini). I really wasn't too fond of the shuffle because it didn't tell you what song it was playing, I liked the fact that I can see my music and whatnot. I got mu Ipod in 2005 and at the time it was trendy and new.  Its somewhat outdated now but functions perfectly and has great storage capacity. I have trouble trying to fill it up even with the tons of pictures I have and some back-up files.  The pictures are not perfectly clear but its good to use as a flashdisk.  If I had to do it over, I would still buy it but maybe not the 60gig size.  Its hard to find accessories for it now since two years is long enough for it to be outdated and there doesn't seem to be much supply for this model. I ordered this product for my granddaughter for Christmas. It was top on her wants list.

She has owned an apple nano and like the idea that this one was larger in size as well as held more videos and music. She is looking forward to downloading videos since this has not been an option for her before.

It has a lot of space for videos and music, nice styling. I was able to have her name and Id number engraved on the back to help protect it from being stolen. Apple was very prompt in forfilling my order.

Both my grown kids have this and they both love it!  It is my daughter's second (the first was stolen) and my son's birthday gift.  I plan to get myself one for the new year!  I love the selections available as to color, the capacity and the ease of use.  It is the best of this type of gadget and a must for all music lovers.  You may wish to consider a refurbished one if cost is a big issue.  But new or refurbed, it is a great buy and I highly recommend it.

I bought for my husband for Christmas and really had no idea what I was buying. We have never had any trouble with it.  It's never froze.  It stores so much  we will never fill it up.  The only problem with it, is there is no manual. So we can't figure out how to get any photos on it.  I bought Ipod for dummies but it still didn't help.  I would highly recommend this Ipod. We had 2 shuffle and a mini and they aren't worth the money.

This was the first I-Pod I purchased when they first came out. Even though it might be a bit bulky and larger than the newer ones I still use it today, as with ample store it holds my entire music collection. I stopped purchasing CD's once i got this, downloading only the songs and music i want from each artist. Although i would by one of the smaller sleeker ones these days this is a good sturdy unit great for kids who are a little rougher on their belongings.

This ipod holds more music than I actually have at this moment. The ipod is easy to use, the click wheel interface is easy to learn and is a very effective method of navigating through the menus on the ipod. I can listen to the music in random fashion, create my own play lists, and can sort music by artist or album. I also can store pictures on my ipod which I have downloaded from my computer. The only downside is that I cannot watch video with this ipod.

The Apple iPod is a great little machine. I like the slim lines and ease of transfer between iPod and computer. The videos are clear and easy to watch. All in all a great product! The music sounds as good as if it is being played on a full size player. It is very portable and can be taken just about anywhere while taking up very little space.It holds a lot of videos and music. I am able to take my whole collection with me anywhere, anytime.

Growing up using a walkman almost every day, i hated when my batteries would give out in the middle of a school trip or when i heard both tapes/cds that i would carry with me.  My ipod solved these issues for me instantly.  In addition, not only does an ipod carry all my music however, it will carry my favorite videos which only further helps the passing of time on long trips across the state.
