The I-Pod Nano 4gb was purchased as a Christmas gift for my 16 year old son. Talk about a happy kid Christmas morning. I did research all of the mp3 players in the same price range and cheaper but kept coming up on  reviews that indicated a lot of crashing. I fought getting an ipod for a long time, since I live in NYC and don't own a car. I never wanted to walk the street of Manhattan or ride the subway plugged into my ipod, since it wasn't the safest idea in the world. so after all that nagging from the wife i finally brought the IPOD nano 4gb version, well the item looks pretty, all apple stuff are pretty. kept it for charging and it took 5 hours to charge. then downloaded itunes not the trouble started, my computer sees the device but i tunes does not find it. now the trouble of transfering video started as IPODs only wants a MP4 format, well after a lot of research and some hard work i found couple of video converters some ad supported and one simple MPEG stream clip and 3ivx and quicktime alternative to convert the avi's to MP4's. finally after lot of… read full review »

I have the 4gb and i lovee the size and how quickly it responds. I had the first nano and was really disappointed with how slowly it turned off, not a huge deal but can be annoying when your late and trying to get out of the car but have to hold the button for awhile until it turns off, so I love the quickness of this new one. The video quality is also alot better than i was expecting. The only downfall is that it doesn't come in 30gb size but who really needs to have all that music with them at once. I received the ipod nano 4 GB as a birthday present last month. I was immediately taken with its design and absolutely light weight. Holding it in my hands or carrying it in my pockets, I hardly feel it at all. The size is great, I have already a 100 podcasts and 15 albums on it and merely a third of it is filled. So, there's still plenty to g o for me. For me, this is enough, because I don't have too many records and tend to listen to the same albums over and over. What I don't like about it is, that it has already crashed twice, but I could revive it by resetting. That's a little unnerving!… read full review »

The Apple-ipod nano 4 GB is an excellent piece of equipment.  The sound is good; the volume adjustable; the earphones are lightweight and easy to use; the weight is slight; the appearance is appealing and the accessories are a plus.  The instruction manual for the ipod nano is abysmal.  There is a manual that can be accessed via the Internet but there are no instructions in that manual for deleting content from the Apple-ipod.  For that bit of necessary information you must do your own searching.  Considering the cost of this tiny bit of extraordinary technology the… read full review »

I love the ipod nano. i used to have the old nano and something happened to it. i really wanted a new one. so when i went to go and buy one i was hoping to get one like i used to have. the store didnt have those anymore. i was very hesistant to buy it at first. but now i am very happy on my decision and am loving it! i would recommend this ipod to anybody. it isnt too big so you can carry it in small places like your pocket. it has video capability...which i love. and just the whole thing in general is… read full review »

    I have owned several different MP3/MP4 players, but this is the best yet.  It has a great screen, clear picture and very high quality sound.  It is smaller than the classic and weighs a lot less.  It is very easy to operate and itunes makes the downloading very simple.  The price was a very reasonable.  I went back two weeks later and bought my husband and daughter one each for Christmas.  I would highly recommend this… read full review »

I love my iPod! The sound is great. The color screen is great.It's small and travels easily.  It holds plenty of music and it's easy to navigate. My only problem with it is when it comes to downloading your music or games or whatever getting to the correct area of the iStore for your particular iPod always proves to be a problem. I bought a reconditioned one since I got it $50 cheaper and so far so good. Mine is the 4g and still have not filled the little thing up. Now I don't have to take my CDs with me on trips since I can just plug it into the car stereo. It's a great device if you get poor radio reception or in an area that doesn't play your type of music so you become your own DJ. I received an ipod nano 3rd Gen for Christmas this year and to my surprise I fell in love with this tiny little piece. The power this small object has just baffled me, it holds 1000 songs, pictures and many other things.I can take this anywhere I go...I had always thought it was for the younger person...I now know that It's for all age groups.
