Although this generation has been discontinued and a new generation is on the market, I will not be switching anytime soon. I love that this iPod has a radio, pedometer, and video camera. I have had this generation for 3 years now and I love it. I like that it's similar to the fourth generation, a step up, but still has the features that I like which have been discontinued in the newer generation. I use it all the time and plan on using it for as long as it lasts. Sound Quality I think it depends on which earbuds you use. When I first bought this I had the factory Apple earbuds and I loved the sound quality, base and treble. Since those have stopped working, I've switched to cheaper duracell earbuds, but they still deliver pretty decent sound quality even though they sound a little more muffled. I don't think that has anything to do with the iPod though. Performance This has all of the functions I want in an iPod. Battery Life The battery doesn't last as long as I'd like. I usually have to charge it about once a day, sometimes every two days depending on how much I use it. Durability I bought a plastic silicone sleeve with this iPod and I still have it. It has kept my iPod in tip top shape. Without it though, I believe it would have more scratches due to dropping it as my previous generation developed scratches easily if I accidentally dropped it.

**My apple ipod i just got for christmas and it is my best gift!!!!!I love how theres a video camera but one thing is i cant figure out how to put my videos on youtube so thats one back drop on the apple ipod nano.I love how you can get 16gb thats like 10,000 songs to my guess......the songs sound great on this device** but the head phones always fall out of my ears so i had to get a grippy pair of headphones.But thats not that big of a deal for me.The songs that i like on itunes are rufly 1.29 per song so thats a little spendy for one song so i think they should lower the prices down on the most popular songs, i think they would get more sales.the sleek design of this ipod lets me put it on lock so if im working out i dont have to worry about me pushing any buttons.i like the color selection the colors are amazing.so overall i give this product a 4.5 out of 5.i dont think apple needs to add big apple stickers in every thing because i know like 60 people who have ipods and not one of them uses those sticker.

I really think Ipod makes the best electronics. They come up with something new and better. I have have the Ipod Nano with the video camera on the back...though I don't understand why they chose the location of the camera. I mean...the camera is at the very bottom of the Ipod. In my opinion, they should have put the camera at the top. I always forget the the camera is at the bottom and that's usually where I put my hand when I hold the Ipod. And so when I am making a video, I always forget that I have to hold the Ipod so that my hand isn't in the way. But other than the camera's location, I love this product. It's not too big and it holds just enough music for if you're a real huge music lover like me. And I also think it has a great mic on it for when you make videos. The mic can pic up the slightest noise to where I don't have to raise my voice too loud. That's good for me, because I don't like talking that loud. I just think that this product is great.

So I decided to give up the old cruddy mp3 I was using, it glitched all the time and was an ugly dark blue. I decided on an ipod because of the color ^^ I totally love it and would never trade it in for anything else. I dont like the touch screens because of the fingerprints, so I like that its not touchscreen, and the pink is super bright. Its easy to read all of the menu options, theres like a hundred different language options, so that was cool. I really like being able to add pictures, games, and even movies onto it. The screen is super big and easy to watch shows on. The volume goes up super loud too. I havent had any problems with it so far. There hasnt been any glitches, the battery life is really good. I can play it for like two days without it dying at all. Oh and charging it is super easy too, I dont need batteries which is nice, and way better for the environment (even if they were rechargable). I just plug it into either the wall charger, ihome or my laptop while listening to it and it charges at the same time XD

**i love this ipod nano! i recently upgraded from the 1st generation nano to the 4th generation! i love everything about it! the variety of colors they have to offer to the amazing features that it has to offer. the video option has got to be my favorite! there is nothing that i find wrong with this amazing ipod. my kids love it to!i video tape everything thay they do! from there soccer games to karate classes! it is so convientent that i can just slip it in my pocket it and go. the sound is amazing aswell.  i love that i can listen to music without having to have uncomfortable earphones. dont even get me started on the shufful option! it just puts on exaclty what i want every single time! its so refreshing to know that technology is improving so much with every generation. the ist generation is nothing compared to this new ipod. the color lets me show my style every day! i love this ipod and i recomend it to everyone who is interested in a easy to use ipod!**

I received my Ipod last christmas.  I was a little reluctant at first to open it.  I was scared but excitred to get started.  It was so easy to use and I was up and running in no time at all.  I have paired down my cd collection.  I use my Ipod anywhere and anytime.  I like the lock mode so it doesn't do what I don't want it to.  I can't get over how light weight it is.  The sound is the best and is unbelievable.  The only warning I would give is to make sure that earphones are in all the way.  I was scared to push it in at first and it would keep pausing because the jack kept falling off.

This Apple iPod Nano is just okay.  It certainly works well and has held up to wear and tear.  It has an attractive appearance but there are some difficulties.  I am a very tech savvy person and even I have had some trouble with this product.  My first issue is that it is actually very tricky to remember how to turn the product off.  It gets confusing because if you pause it and lock it, it looks like its off but it isn't.  You will only end up running down your battery.  That is my other issue, battery life is not great.  On the plus side, it works really with with iTunes on my Mac (as it is designed to do).  I also like how the screen changes based on how you hold the device.  I also like that you can use itunes to create playlists or play by genre or artist right from the device.  I was happy to see when I purchased it that it came in many different colors.  Over all I would rate this device as average, pros and cons.

The purple i-pod nano is the best MP3 player I have ever owned.  The color is fun and adorable, which is a nice plus, but it is also a great little unit.  The small size is convenient for when you're on the go.  It easily fits into a purse, coat pocket, etc., but it's not so small that it's easily misplaced (like the i-pod shuffle, in my opinion).  This nano is easy to use and has some really awesome features, such as the "genius" playlist, which automatically creates a playlist for you based on a certain song, album, artist, etc. that you select.  It is also nice that it organizes all of your music for you by categories (genre, album, artist, etc.) so that you can easily find and listen to whatever suits your mood instead of just listening to one album all the way through.  This ipod also has a feature where you can give it a hard shake to move to the next song.  I love that feature when I am jogging or driving and don't want to have to look down at the ipod and try to push the right buttons.

I have owned the pink 16 GB fifth generation Ipod for about six months now and I absolutely love it. The sound quality is great and the available options make it suitable for any genre of music. I am also a big fan of the video recording. The picture comes out beautifully although comfortably holding the Ipod without blocking the lens can be a challenge. Uploading videos and pictures is really simple as well. The product, above all, is very durable. It was just a week ago that I had devastatingly found that I had ran mine through the washer. Luckily after allowing it to dry for several days it started right back up and is working as if nothing ever happened. I would definitely recommend this product!
