Apple - iPod Nano 4th Generation Review

For a long time I have needed to follow my doctor's advice and get more exercise.  But in a way I have felt like I was wasting time...I am not a group walker or anything and prefer that to be alone time, but was sort of bored.

For my birthday I was given some gift money and I figured what the heck, I don't really want or need anything special and I am not good at saving money so I sprung for my IPOD Nano, 4th generation.  It is my first IPOD/MP3 player.

Of course, I had to get my teenagers to give me an inservice and I still have a learning curve but I find it to be an outstanding piece of electronics.  I have nothing else to compare it to except a portable CD player, but I have found the sound quality it excellent and it is essentially fairly easy to use.  I got PURPLE!  It comes in a bunch of cool colors.

I wasn't enamored with the earphones I got with it mostly because standard earbuds are uncomfortable in my ears.  Currently I am borrowing my son's Skull Candy earphones (I highly recommend them as well).  I have had a bit of difficulty learning how to upload music and manage the data on the IPOD but I attribute that largely to my distinct learning curve.

It amazes me that the computer/software/iTunes knows what the album cover looks like and can read the titles and such.  (Can you tell I am a product of the 70's?)

I guess the only other thing that bums me out (and there may be a way to avoid this I haven't learned of yet) that when it is in my pocket when I am walking it will jump to next song, midsong, and I am not sure why.

Overall, I highly recommend this product!
