Most HelpfulPRICE: As just about every anti-iPod reviewer mentions, THE IPOD IS MORE EXPENSIVE AND DOES PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING. The iPod is basically the BMW of mp3 players...the other mp3 player work like, and cost about as much as a Kia. They all do basically the same thing, but the cheaper ones are cheaper...
read full review »I got my iPod Nano as an early Christmas gift. I commute everyday and wanted to listen to music and watch tv shows/movies on my train. I love how small the iPod is. The screen is tiny, yet the picture quality is awesome. I've never owned an iPod and am extremely impressed with it thus far. I like the trivia game that is pre-loaded on it and I can play that and listen to my music at the same time. iTunes is very user friendly as well, which makes it easy to find what I want and put it on my iPod. I found a nice clear plastic (hard) case to protect my iPod because I don't want to scratch...

I already own an Ipod 3G 40 GB. It was an anniversary gift and I love it. But this year my husband upgraded my car radio with an ipod compatible radio but my older ipod wont work with it.
So for under 200 bucks I bought this one, my ipod lite. I got it and its super cute. I got blue. LOVE IT! It holds 2000 songs; perfect for my car needs.
I connected it to Itunes, manually synched my songs and plugged it into my car. This one rocks. So small but clear sound and crisp screen.
I can use this one when at the grocery store or in the car. It works great with my radio.
And my other ipod is my...

I got my 3rd Generation Nano brand-new. I still haven't filled it up. I think the screen is an OK size to watch shows on. If I have to go to the mechanic or wait for my husband at the doctor's I like watching a show. Sound quality is good and you can store photos on it.
The earbuds Apple included are hard plastic and they fell out of my ears all the time. I bought some Skullcandy ones with the soft buds. Not a big-money investment.
Don't plug it into the USB while you have a song on pause. It will freeze the iPod and you have to go online to figure out how to unfreeze it. Don't freak out - it's...

Vaguely reminded of the "cabbage patch" doll crisis, I stood in line two years ago to snatch an 8 gig ipod video for my daughter; dutifully purchased all the goodies for it, and happily gave it to for Christmas, laughing to myself that her older brother would be the one to teach her to use it. Even remarked to my husband, "How could ANYBODY fill up thousands of songs on that little thing and somehow...

I absolutely LOVE the iPod Nano Third Generation! I am a BIG music person, and having this little iPod makes listening to my music easy. The screen is of the perfect size, and the memory is just right for me! It's easy to store, easy to use, and easy to love!
Okay so I finally crossed over into the world of Apple. I have been a hold out because of itunes to be honest. So what do I think two weeks into being the new owner of a 3rd generation iPod Nano in a sharp green color? I love it, my goal was to have a music player that would hold my collection of cd's which were about 100 or so. I am not much of a music person so ease of use was just as important as how many songs it would hold and to be honest sound. The nano scored high marks on all accounts. A helpful hint, it is easier to download your cd's directly into the software rather than importing...
