The Ipod Nano 3rd Generation is a good mp3 player. It can hold many songs and has no playback issues thaat I am aware of. It also does not skip when riding a bike, running, or driving on bumpy roads. Also, the battery will last you about eight hours if you let it play through your songs without pressing to many buttons. This is good for plane rides when you want to listen to music and have no particular song you want to hear. On the other hand, the battery will not last nearly as long if you select many different songs by flipping through the menus. This was a problem for me because most of the time, I want to hear a certian song and I am away from a charger. When my Ipod was sold to me, It was 120 dollars. This was pretty expensive for a third generation cosidering that the Nano Chromatic was released within the month of my purchase for around that price. Even though I felt that the price was too high, the Ipod itself was not bad. Despite battery life iussues, it was worth the money. I would recommed this to anybody who enjoys listening to music on the go.
