I own a Creative Zen Jukebox 40 gig MP3 Player and swore I would never get an iPod. But, I won a $50.00 gift card to the Apple Store in a contest and, well, you know how that goes.

I searched around and saw the Apple iPod Nano Black (2 GB, MA099LL/A) MP3 Player and decided to get it. My other player is...

I had wanted an iPod for a long time but didn't really know that much about them. When I finally did a bit of research, I was just amazed at their capacity!

I purchased the 8 MB Nano. This item is so slim and tiny you can carry it anywhere. The sound is superb. I am still blown away by how much can fit into this tiny little wonder! Not only can you load music into it, but also photos, podcasts and contacts.

You can also purchase some speakers for it and use them in any room in your home. It's just fantastic.

I love my ipod nano! It is a great motivator for the gym. I like to listen to NPR podcasts while using the elliptical trainer. My favorites: "This American Life" and "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me..." I can also plug it into the auxiliary port in my car. I do this on longer trips (my daily commute is pretty short). It took me awhile to get used to iTunes but I really love it now. I have become a huge Mac fan and hope to purchase one soon.

Intro
I held out as long as I could. I was holding out buying an iPod, waiting for the long-awaited iPhone and saving my money. I wandered into apple.com, and looked through the Reburbished iPods, and found iPod Shuffles as cheap as $49 and current generation iPods for as cheap as $199. I thought maybe if I bought myself a cheap iPod for my birthday, I could maybe not just last until the iPhone comes out June 29, but also maybe even make it a little longer.

My Choice of iPod

My kids both have iPod Shuffles, and while those are great and useful, 250 songs songs may sound like a lot, but it's really...

I'm a lover of music.  Anytime an artist that I'm interested in releases an album I'm one of the first to purchase it.  Over the years I have collected hundreds of cd's.  However, I have run into a serious problem, which is storage of my cd's.  I have several cd cases and sun visor holder to store my cd's...after a while this gets old, heavy and bulky.

So I begin to research different digital media players.  The ones that stood out the most were ipod and zune.  The one I ultimately chose to purchase was an ipod.  This has been the best purchase I've made in a couple or years.  It stores...

I love the ipod nano b/c it isn't a bulky cd player/tape player etc...  It's small and easy to carry if you're running, walking, or doing anything.  The accessories for a runner/walker are great too- the arm band or clip is easy to wear and again, very light.  The ipod holds so many songs too, which is great for such a small unit .

I have lost track of the i-pods I have had. I had a first generation, and I am resisting getting an i-phone until AT&T either strengthens their service, or the phone becomes open and other carriers can service them.

Other than the battery issues (replacement not worth it) so have to buy another and then contribute to land fill issues. My only other complaint is that because I can carry all of my favorite songs, I do, and when I am listening to one song I am always looking for the next song.

At any rate, I love my i-pod(s).

The iPod is a great way to carry your music around. With accessories like an arm band and Monster cable, you can take hundreds of songs with you on the road, when you work out, when you're studying, or wherever you want to go.

The interface is easy to use, and the click wheel is easy to navigate with. One of the downsides is the earbuds are uncomfortable after an extended period of time (longer than half an hour, and my ears ache). Also, the iPod scratches very easily, so be sure to get a shield or case for it.

The capacity is big enough to hold a workout playlist, and even a playlist for a short...

I love this iPod, and I always hated lugging around a bunh of cd's in my truck and not a lot of space to put them in. Plus this can go anywhere with me. I reccomend this to everyone! I used to burn cd's because you can fit way more on them than the usualy cd's you just buy for the store. This is small, practially weighs nothing, and yet very stylish. If you go with the 2gig you get your pick of color and with apple.com you can even have up too three lines engraved on the back of it for no extra cost. I love this product!

The iPod Nano is the greatest thing that was ever invented.  It is so little and light that you can put it in your pocket and listen to your music when you are walking or running, might I include working out at the gym.  If you have the Nike Shoes that you can sync your iPod to it will tell you how many miles you have walked and how many calories you have burned when you are walking or running.

This MP3 player is one of the best out there with lots of storage for music. Plus, easy download software to add music to your Ipod. The small thin look is really compatitable to carry and anywhere. This MP3 is great for all ages to use and have a good easy set up to understand. Overall this is one of the best MP3 I have ever use and last the longest.

The Apple I-pod Nano is a good choice when you are picking an ipod out. It is great for people who love to listen to music and the battery lasts awhile depending on how long you charge it for. I am very happy with this product and would reccomend it. It holds many songs which is your choice when you purchase it.

I love my iPod, it gets me through treadmill time.  It is very user friendly, I usually have a lot of trouble with tech stuff, but this was no problem.  All iPod devices come with iTunes program that is also easy to use and navigate.  Although, I have had a little trouble with finding some artists that I like in the iTunes library that should have been staple music in any store.  I am also a little disappointed that some of the itunes features like movies, and tv shows don't watch well just on the computer.  The nano isn't video, but I think if I want to pay for a show and watch it on my computer... review »
