Even though the 4th Generation 20 GB iPod is no longer being produced or sold, I wish it was. This iPod has the perfect amount of capacity for the average music listener. Although it does not have color or hold movies or pictures, it is much more reliable than the newer iPods, that often encounter problems. If you are looking for a simple music player with a great deal of space, reliability, and sound quality, this iPod is perfect for you.

I bought this iPod over two years ago. I have seen no reason to update. It still holds and plays songs, which is the main point. I don't need to watch movies on a 2" screen or view my pictures, that what a tv and computer is for. The only problem I had with it was taken care of by Apple, it was still under warranty and I was happy with the warranty process. It was simple enough and timely. In the age of constantly updating electronics, with this product, its not nessacery. Its still stylish, functional, and works great.

I have owned every generation on the iPod and I like the 4th generation the best!! I see that someone else had complained about the battery life however, I have had no problems with the battery life! The new screen took me a little while to get used to however I have grown to love the new screen!! I would Highly recommended this generation to anyone!

I've had this model iPod (4th generation, 20 Gig scroll wheel) for several years now and it stores all my audio files and the battery has never had to be replaced. If you only want an audio music player, this is a great and reliable model.
