One stated: "High quality, easy to use, and convenient to travel with. Also has so much storage that I don't think I am ever going to fill it up." Still another reviewer said of the 80GB gentle giant: "Right away, I found this iPod to be much better and could see the difference in product maturity." iPod Classic 80GB

I bought my Apple iPod Classic two years ago. I've always used a portable CD player to listen to my CD music. The concept of an MP3 type player was very exciting to me. Once I got everything loaded to the iPod, I couldn't put it down. I just love my Apple iPod Classic and I...

The Ipod Classic is a improvement, but still has a few problems. The Ipod still has problems with freezing. I also wish there was a way to change the cover flow view to the original view that came with the ipod video. Big improvement with the memory size, and much smaller than the ipod video 80G.

I've always bought the less mainstream mp3 players - this is my very first ipod. I have to say, it's not the best player in terms of features, but it does have some things that make it uniquely better (I think) than others I have owned.

If I want to watch a tv show or look at (and zoom into) pictures I will most likely use my Creative Zen Vision. The screen is much bigger, but that also makes it bulkier. However, it also has a radio and voice recorder built-in. I'm sorry, but I don't want to have to buy a ton of little attachments for my mp3 player - If I'm going to do that then I might as...

I got my iPod Classic as a christmas gift a couple of years ago. I remember how excited i was when i opened the box and realized what's inside, it became my instant favorite!...Well you see, there's lots of things i do and use my iPod....when i go hang out on the beach or by the pool, iPod!....when I go for a jog or walk, iPod!.. when i go to the gym, iPod!...when i don't like hearing people talk nonsense, iPod! etc. etc.. And what makes it even better is that i don't only get to listen to hundreds of music, i can save my favorite photos in it and watch videos, too. It's a really cool thing to...

I absolutly love this Ipod that my husband just got me.  I am not computer savy and I could very easily get this IPOD to work.  It is very conventient to use with it being so small and I also bought the sleeve that you can velcro to your arm and walk or exercise with it which makes my workouts so much more entertaining.  Would definitely recommend this to a anyone.  High quality, easy to use, and convenient to travel with.  Also has so much storage that I don't think I am ever going to fill it up with all of the songs allowed.

I never had an ipod classic 80G before. I would surely love to try it to see if I like it. I like the fact that it plays music and that it has lots of storage. Also you can play you faviorite music videos. If I do decide to buy it I would make sure it works first and test it to see if it does what it's supost to do. I love to watch movies so I hope that it play movies. I would buy one at the price that I can afford. I see that it is expensive not all ipod classics are to much money I guess. My sister owns one she bought an arm strap to go along with it I don't think she pays to much money for...

I work for a company in the mail-room where I do computer entry of incoming orders daily.  Since I am not on the phone for incoming orders, I am able to slap on my Ipod and listen to it while inputing my orders, which happen to be anywhere from 75 to 250 a day.  I tend to pace myself with my music.  My co worker ( there are only two of us currently since one quit ) said she doesn't see how I can do this and still remain my accuracy.  This is the way I walk also, I pace myself to the beat of the music.  Start with a slow beat , work up to a faster one, and end up with a slow one at the end...

Now, one size really does fit all… As long as you don’t mind it having a hard drive, and don’t need wifi connectivity or a large screen for video and games.

The iPod Classic may be Apple’s least innovative currently available iPod… except for maybe the shuffle, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy it.

This iPod is essentially the same as the previous Generation iPod Classic. The only difference is that it comes standard in only one size, the 120GB. This size is really more than enough. No one could possibly buy that much music. As apple states, the device holds 30,000 songs. To...

I have had my iPod for a few years now and I am very glad that I bought it. In the time that I have had my iPod I have traveled to both Iraq and Afghanistan in that time and it has been holding out like a champ both times.  I went with the 80gb ipod because I have a lot of music and it holds all of it without any problems and I still have room for a lot more or to even add some videos on there.  In the entire time I have had my iPod I have only really had one video on it just due to the fact that the screen is really small and so it's kind of hard to watch things on there.  On the other hand...

it took me a long time to finally buy an IPod for myself...... and now I cannot live without it!

I bought it about a year ago at the Apple store and love everything about it. I have the 80g and couldn't fill the hard drive if I tried.

There must be 1,000 songs, 1,000 pictures, games and movies on it..... And I am still only using about 10g!

My favorite part of my IPod is being able to download movies and TV shows. I enjoy watching these at the gym and the IPod makes it possible! I enjoy going to the gym now, which is great because this gives me some time to watch "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia!"...

I recently purchased the Apple Ipod Classic 80G a couple of months ago. The last ipod I bought was a 2nd Generation Ipod  2G, so it is definitely a new experience to be able to add almost 40,000 songs to my ipod! The amount of space available is definitely one of the best features of this ipod. There is some lag the more you fill it up, but it's not too much of a problem. I do notice that when I view Albums, the ipod makes a sort of clicking sound while the album cover-art loads and it usually takes maybe 10-15 seconds for all cover-art to load completely. I don't know if this is normal or not;... review »

I Love My I-Pod I always have it with me, I am constantly listening to music. My Ipod has lots of space and very easy to work and save files to.
However sometimes it does not like to connect to the internet, and freezes.

I bought games on mine, but I have to play either the ones that were on there or the ones I bought cant mix and match if I want to I have to reset the system.

Its light and durable considering I am a person that drops things all the time this one has lasted for me. I have had it for 2 years now I believe it is.

The battery last me a long time I do not turn it off during the day...

I had a sansa 1 gig with a 2 gig card and was complaining that my 3 gig's of music was not enough.  I also told my husband that I needed to get a docking station for it for work.  Instead for mothers day last year, my son & husband got me an 80 gig Ipod with a small speaker docking-station from JBL for work.  I love it, I have used it every day at work.  I even bought a new stereo system with a Ipod docking station on it so I could listen to it upstairs.  My son likes to listen to it and play games in the car.  I told my husband it is the perfect size, with the sansa, I was always afraid...
