Apple iPod Classic 80G —

I recently purchased the Apple Ipod Classic 80G a couple of months ago. The last ipod I bought was a 2nd Generation Ipod  2G, so it is definitely a new experience to be able to add almost 40,000 songs to my ipod! The amount of space available is definitely one of the best features of this ipod. There is some lag the more you fill it up, but it's not too much of a problem. I do notice that when I view Albums, the ipod makes a sort of clicking sound while the album cover-art loads and it usually takes maybe 10-15 seconds for all cover-art to load completely. I don't know if this is normal or not; in any case it doesn't really hinder my experience all that much. I also find the "Cover Flow" feature to be completely useless; it just doesn't work at all. I think that feature should just be taken out of any future ipod products. Additionally, the click wheel is a lot less responsive then previous ipod models. I barely had to touch my Ipod Nano for the click wheel to respond, but with this model I find myself have to go over the wheel more than once to get it to work. The ipod itself is very prone to scratches and fingerprints. I have yet to take my ipod outside or drop it and it already has a few scratch marks. Overall, I am very pleased with this product. There are a few problems with it, but it definitely serves it's purpose well and continues to be one of the best mp3 players available.
