The Apple iphone (4GB) is a great cell phone, mp3, gps, and video player, etc...

The phone reception is clear on both ends unlike a lot of cellphones out there. I love the large LCD touch screen that clearly displays who's calling with optional picture ID.

The camera is very sharp and clear for not having a flash. I went to a concert and took pictures with this phone and got great pictures even with the blinding red lights.

My Apple iPhone has been my constant companion for a year and a half.

What do I love about it?

1. I carry over 1500 photos (taken by me as well as scanned and uploaded from family albums) with me every where I go.

2. The camera takes excellent photos, better than my digital camera EVER did! (It was a Sony CyberShot.)

3. It is SO user friendly, I didn't even need to use the manual to figure out the cool apps.

4. Apple has updated my iPhone software, for free, every time they've come out with a newer iPhone.

                  The iphone by Apple is a wonderful tool to use for pretty much any person in any buisness. I was told when I wanted to get one " your not a doctor or a lawyer. There is no reason you need one of those things." I work in a hospital and knew some doctors who owned one, so I asked what they used it for mostly. Pretty much all of them said they use it for buisness (email, patient information, buisness related texts) only about 20% of the time. the rest of the time they used it for personal things. I took that information and shelled out the money to get one.

I love my Apple Iphone but what was Apple  thinking when they built this phone? I notice that it does not automatically come with video, when texting, the only editing option is delete. I should be able to add the ph# that I received the text from to my contact list. And speaking of texting, it would have been nice to create a better keypad. Where it usually takes me seconds to create a text message, now takes minutes because the keys are too close together. Apple Iphone 4GB

Anyone, really, that purchases this phone is in it for the trendiness it offers them. Sure, its cool. Internet, touch screen with that "sticky thingy" (stylus),internet blah blah blah. All in all YES! cool phone with awesome stuff to play with. Quality wise, it's just awful. The screen smudges and i dropped mine once and the entire front face of it cracked all the way down the middle!! I'll never purchase an Iphone again.

My husband is the tech one in the family when it comes to all the new gadgets. Me, all I want is a phone that actually calls people. Well, a little more than that wouldn't hurt; but, I knew I defanietly didn't need an iPhone. I really didn't think my husband di either until he proved me wrong - kinda.

The iPhone has made my life easier. Plain and simple. Before I got this little wonder I carried three pieces of equipment to carry out my daily business, A PDA, an iPod, and my regular old cell phone. This little guy has it all in one!

While the glass does tend to get a bit smudged it is easily cleanable, and extremely scratch resistant. The display is crisp, clear, and highly responsive. The touch interface is really something one must experience to get a full appreciation of just how intuitive...

Update:

 The iPhone 2.0 software addressed the Exchange email issues and the 3rd party app capabilities bring this phone to be a great enterprise product.

 The coolness factor of this phone trumps all others.  If all you do is phone and email/txt msging, the Blackberry might be a better choice, but if you want to do web browsing, check sports scores, play music, play movies, etc., then this is a terrific product and the best (by far) I have seen.  The only better product is the iPhone 3G which gives you faster browsing speeds.

I love my iPhone. I have many applications that help me keep organized and never get bored. I no longer have to wait until I get home from work to do my personal business, such as reading emails, keeping up with friends on Facebook. Anytime I get the urge or start getting bored while waiting in line etc., I pull out my iPhone and get happy! I'm a news junkie, so I have all the news and info that I could want at the touch of a finger. I also have my favorite game (Bejewelled) on my iPhone.
