The iPhone has made my life easier. Plain and simple. Before I got this little wonder I carried three pieces of equipment to carry out my daily business, A PDA, an iPod, and my regular old cell phone. This little guy has it all in one!
- Easy to navigate contacts
- Quick access to favorite numbers
- To do lists and calendar options.
While the glass does tend to get a bit smudged it is easily cleanable, and extremely scratch resistant. The display is crisp, clear, and highly responsive. The touch interface is really something one must experience to get a full appreciation of just how intuitive and natural it is, and the battery life is outstanding. I can usually go about 5 days between charges with moderate wireless/Edge internet usage and normal phone calls (about 3-5 a day 5-15 minutes each call)
There are a few cons to the device though.
- Cost / Contract. You will be tied to AT&T for 2 years and the phone is a bit pricy at $399
- No incoming / outgoing MMS picture/music messages.
- No ability to connect to computers or other phones to bluetooth contact data or files.
Some of these cons can be overcome with future firmware upgrades, and rumors say that they will. There is also the issue of the AT&T Edge network, yes it is not the fastest way to get your data, but it is better than the old days of 14.4 modems!
Overall I say the plusses outweigh the cons. I highly reccommend this product for everyone!
