I got my iPhone 3G last year, the day after they were released, and I have to say that I don't know how I lived without it for all these years! The commercials are right, there really is an app for everything, and I use apps everyday to help make my life easier, and to stay organized and on track with my day to day activities.

I love that I can set reminders on my phone, so I don't forget to do even the most seemingly insignificant task. I also like the alarm feature to set an alarm to go off at the same time on any given day. It keeps me from having to remember to set my alarm to wake up for...

This phone is great! It has everything I need in my day to day life. I had my itouch stolen and my phone was broken so I got this phone and now instead of carrying around 2 different devices I have everything in one small device. Picture on the phone is very clear, speakerphone is great, internet is great and I have so much fun downloading free apps from the app store. If you dont over use the phone the battery lasts a while and it charges very quickly once you do plug it in. If I had to change anything about the phone it would be that when I turn the sound down it should turn the volume down on...

I got this phone when it was time to renew my contract. I had seriously considered going back to my previous cell phone carrier. But the salesman made a very good pitch for this phone. This was at a time that the 3G s was not available and was not even mentioned at the time. If he had told me about the latest version I would have waited.

All things considered I am pleased with my iPhone it does everything I want it to do and then some. The app store is just short of phenomenal the possibilities of applications is endless. I am sure if you can think of an application...

I left Verizon and switched to AT&T for the iPhone 3G after losing my LG Dare one night and discovering it would cost me $400 to replace. I spent nearly as much after the carrier switch and phone, but it was WELL worth it. The iPhone is by far the best cell phone I've ever used, and it's just so much fun. Almost everyone I know owns an iPhone - it's a little ridiculous, actually, when we all get together and whip out our phones.

Call quality is good, love that there's a built in iPod, and the app store is just great. There are so many free apps to choose from that I don't know why anyone would...

I love my Apple iPhone 3G.  I am a former Verizon customer fed up with the pompous attitutudes from the local salesmen.  A former engineer, now a full time mom, this phone works well for me - it helps me to be more efficient in juggling my husband, three kids, and my friends.  I am able to keep up with e-mail with the Comcast app, keep up with friends through Facebook, job search through the built in web browser, Safari, and so much more.  There is a built in camera which produces much better picture quality than any cell phone I've had in the past.  I also love that I am able to post those...

ive had the iphone 3g now for about 6 months.  i can say that i truley love it.  it has so many apps that help get me through daily life...  it helped me hang a mirror, and my dome light in my car has recenty burned out so the flashlight app helps at night when i drop stuff...  ive also found that its great with my daughter (who is almost 6)...  waiting in line or at the doctors office can sometimes be quite trying...  but ive downloaded some apps to keep her busy while waiting and it really works out well....  ive also gotten some apps that are fun to take out to the bar with me, such as...

It has been exactly one year since I got my Apple IPhone 3g and I wonder how I lived without it before.  All previous phones I had were just to make calls and no bells or whistles.  After seeing the IPhone, I really wanted one and decided to suck the extra cost and get one.  I love it and cannot remember how I survived without all the extras.  First, the internet is great.  I use it to look up places to eat while we are out, the authors name of books when I am at the book store, sports scores and so many other little things that really add up.  The GPS section has helped me so many times...

iPhone 3G is a good phone for all-around use.

I use it in the hospital - many good aps for medicine

* epocrates is fantastic (esp the new updated iphone full version - not free though)

* Ob wheel

* Maxwellsesque programs (there are many)

all make this handy for me at work.

i like the GPS feature (although the talk feature added to the 3GS would be helpful), the camera is quite good, nice browser, like the ipod feature

Very multifeatured, lots of fun games available, lots of cool aps - they keep coming up with cooler stuff!

Cons: battery life is not...

The Apple iPhone is an amazing little computer that just so happens to have a phone as well, not to mention a host of other great items like a camera, 25,000 apps to choose from, built in calendar, visual voice mail, google maps with gps directions, voice recorder, weather, stocks, you name it, it has it. The only thing it does not have in a video recorder, which is available in the new iPhone 3Gs. The other minor issue is that it sometimes takes a while for certain apps to load, and certain features it has touted in the latest software release (3.0), have not yet been activated, like internet...

From someone who used to be completely uninterested in the newest, latest and greates, I can honestly say this phone changed my life. I know I would get by without it, but in these modern times, it is so nice to know that I don't need to purchase eighteen gadgets to stay up to date. I don't need a Tom-Tom or a Jim-Jim or any other GPS device, I can just use my iPhone to pinpoint my location on the map, get turn-by-turn driving directions and see satellite images. I can also download almost unlimited free applications, including free online radio and social networking sites. I can check email, browse...

The hardware
No one will have any trouble recognizing the new device from its face -- it's essentially identical to the original iPhone. Thankfully, the bright, high quality, high resolution 480 x 320 3.5-inch display that's just so easy to love, hasn't been changed a bit. Unfortunately, it's still every bit as much a magnet for smudges and fingerprints -- in fact, even more so now that the rear of the device has dropped its chic matte aluminum in favor of black (or white, optional on the 16GB model) plastic. Hey, at least now it's more symmetrical.

The move to plastic seemed almost inevitable now...

I love my iphone.  I had a Blackberry Curve prior to this phone and will never go back.  It's easy to search for and download apps, and there really is an app for everything.  The only bad thing about my phone is that I chose the 8GB.  I thought I would buy te cheapest one just to make sure I liked the phone.  I really wish now that I had gotten a bigger one.  I haven't had any space issues yet, but I am always a little nervous I will run out of room.  On the bright side, I have my phone and ipod all in one now, so that's one less thing to keep up with.  The apps for the iphone are so handy. ...

Ok so this phone come in black and has touchscren and a very sensitive touch screen. i enjoy using this phone daily. only experiece occasional dropped calls. The speakers sound amazing.
