Apple - iPhone 3G (8GB) Cell Phone

I got this phone when it was time to renew my contract. I had seriously considered going back to my previous cell phone carrier. But the salesman made a very good pitch for this phone. This was at a time that the 3G s was not available and was not even mentioned at the time. If he had told me about the latest version I would have waited.

All things considered I am pleased with my iPhone it does everything I want it to do and then some. The app store is just short of phenomenal the possibilities of applications is endless. I am sure if you can think of an application you need and you put it in the search bar it will find it and you can download it to your phone. Not all apps are free (but there is an enormous amount that are) alot of the apps charge a fee for the download. those fees can range from .99 cents to $5.00 for each app. There are alot of catergories to choose from eg. music, wallpaper, sports, trivia, games and within these catergories have even more selections to choose from. for example music you can choose from rock, oldies, classical, gospel, christian, the list goes on and on. So now you get the idea!! Many possibilities and you can literally spend hours and hours (if not days) going through them all. all of this is just from the app store alone.

The iPhone is internet ready. It uses Safari as the browser which is ok I think it has room to improve. Overall it is a good browser to use. You are limited to 8 different "windows" after that you either have to close a window or the next one you bring up will replace an existing page you have loaded. Be careful if you want to save that page make sure it goes into another window or you will lose your page that you wanted.

The Ipod on this phone is just awesome!! You can download as many albums and songs you have time and memory that you want to use. If you have an 8 gig phone it can hold 2000 songs (I think) I have 526 and I still have PLENTY  of room for more. Keep in mind the more music you put in the ipod app. it does eat up your storage space.

With the new iPhone 3G S available now you can get this phone for $99 (for the 8GB) which is why I would have rather waited I would have saved myself 100 bucks.
