Apple - iPhone 3G (8GB) Cell Phone Review

iPhone 3G is a good phone for all-around use.

I use it in the hospital - many good aps for medicine

* skyscape has some good free materials

* epocrates is fantastic (esp the new updated iphone full version - not free though)

* Ob wheel

* Maxwellsesque programs (there are many)

all make this handy for me at work.

i like the GPS feature (although the talk feature added to the 3GS would be helpful), the camera is quite good, nice browser, like the ipod feature

Very multifeatured, lots of fun games available, lots of cool aps - they keep coming up with cooler stuff!

Cons: battery life is not going to cut it. you can tell from day 1 - it can hardly handle a day of regular use.  and because you're using it all the time (because it does so much!) "stand by" battery life doesn't mean a thing.  I keep the screen at 1/3 normal brightness all the time because otherwise you can actually watch the battery die in front of you!

easily scratched - buy a screen protector and a case the day you buy the phone.  Don't remove them.  or just plan on having a very scratched up phone!
