Apple - iPhone (16 GB) Smartphone Cell Phone —

The Apple iPhone is absolutely one of the most beautiful pieces of gadgetry to come out of Cupertino since Apple's inception.  That being said, the iPhone is also a $299 piece of junk sitting on my desk until my contract with another defect (AT&T) is up.  The marriage between the iPhone's complex and unfinished software (no cut and paste???) and AT&T's "3G...twice as fast, half the price" network is an absolute joke.

Maybe some of you reading this have had a wonderful experience with your iPhone, but I'm here to tell you I'm not the only one that has experienced frustration and regret over this purchase.

From the periodic period of constant dropped calls to the use of Google Maps that says you are miles from your actual location or simply refuses to even work...to an issue with a number of programs locking up requiring a phone reset...this phone needs more than little software upgrade.

So what would make the iPhone better?  It needs a total software upgrade and most of all, let us out of our AT&T contracts...you have lied blatantly on every TV in this nation...this phone is NOT twice as fast.
