Ah, yes. Apple's iPhone. Upon the announcement of this device, I must say, I was excited. After all, Apple hasn't let me down [much]. After receiving the device (first generation), I must say that it has lived up to it's standards. Though, some people may disagree with not having a keyboard, the touch screen keyboard works flawlessly, unless you happen to have bigger-than-average hands. The iPhone has everything that a mobile device needs: Texting, email capabilities, internet, camera, wifi capabilities, video playback (mp4, youtube, quicktime, etc), you name it. The internet browser, Safari, shows webpages as if you were on your PC at home and not the watered down version of the site like most devices. Sadly, no flash media and no copy/paste function.

Although a great device, there are flaws. One major flaw is the battery life. Because you will not want to smudge your screen with "face prints" while talking on the iPhone, you will most likely use a bluetooth headset, which will quickly kill your battery. The wifi connection will also burn through your battery quickly. Also, every-once-in-a-while, when accessing the applications on the device, the apps will shutdown. This is usually fixed by restarting the device.

All in all, the iPhone is a wonderful device, and as the first of it's kind, I recommend it to anyone.
