We bought iMac computer mainly for educational purposes and online access.  It surpasses the speed we were looking for.  As first time user of an Apple computer,  it was very intimidating to use since it has different operating system than other computer that we commonly use. Eventually, we were able to get used to its wonderful features. Aside from it is user friendly, it is virtually virus free and re-sets itself to even more efficient for next day use.  It does not require a ~shut down~ after use but of course it is an option based on  your preferences.  It is not a cheap computer but...

My husband and I ran a web design company for many years. I handled all the invoicing and he did all the creative work. At that time we only had windows machines. Once the company was built up we sold it so that we could persue our passions. My husband birthed a new company as a marketing manager to high-end clients and I began a blog for families in my area. I began working daily on the blog and spent hours updating the calendar, adding images, etc. It was time consuming but I loved it.  Three months into my work our outdated windows computer crashed. I got my iMac to replace Macbook pro that was getting old, and it was unbelievably satisfying. Like all Mac products, installation was a snap. It runs all applications super smoothly, even graphic-heavy ones, and never ever crashes. The display is gorgeous, so much so that we watch movies and internet TV on it more often than on our TV. Most visitors point out that it looks awesome, because it's a truly stunning machine, and the display is just so crisp and bright. My only issue is that the minimum brightness setting is not dim enough for evenings when the room is dark, so it can get a little tiring...

I adore my imac. I use it every day for graphic design and home use. It is so easy to use and nice and compact. I love that it is just the screen.  It is amazingly small considering the power in it. 

I did have trouble with the mac store when i bought it because my first one wouldnt start right out of the box. They wanted to refirbish it, but i fought to get a new one b/c i had bought a new one. I won finally after a week.

We have been using Macs since 1989 when my husband started using one at his job. I had always used IBMs and was used to that software but got hooked on Macs since they are so easy to use and store records. The retrieval of records is much easier as well because you don't have to look through tons of files you just search one place and find the file in the hard drive. The other thing Iove about Macs is the software. There is iphoto, itunes, ipages, appleworks, so many different softwares plus you can download a version of Microsoft that is free 'open office' so now everything is compatible without...

I really enjoy my new iMac 24" all in one desk top. I have been an Apple user for over 10 years. I bought this one use almost a year ago with no failures and no bugs to worry about. I enjoy the ease of use and the basic application are great. I have used iTunes alot, and enjoy listening to the radio stations for free. I am using the standard speakers that are built in the system. I have only add Open Office on the system currently and it is functioning perfectly.

Yes, I used to be anti-Apple.  Yes, I used to not understand the big deal about Macs.  Yes, I used to think Apple products were more fluff than regular PCs.  Things change.

I got my iMac for my birthday in January 09 (thanks to my sweet and extravagant wife).  Just when I was feeling pretty competent with Windows XP, I faced learning about operating my Apple iMac All-in-One 24" desktop computer and about using Mac OS 10.5.8.

Things worked differently on the Apple iMac All-n-One 24" desktop computer, but learning how to use the iMac was pretty easy.  I quickly grew to love working on it.

I have always been a faithful pc user, but after having 3 pcs crash on in me within 7 years, I decided to give apple a chance.  This computer is awesome!  It does so much more and is much easier to maitain and use.  Plus it looks great and takes up very little space.  I cant believe how much money I have saved not having to purchase virus protectors since it updates for free and on its own!  I will never purchase a pc again!  The mac was the same price and will last longer than any pc.  The photo lab is amazing because it downloads on its own.  All you do is plug any device in to the keyboard...

On the advise of my two grown sons, my husband and I bought an iMac for Christmas last year! It is so terrific that I tell everyone! The iMac replaced my PC laptop that gave me many problems with freezing up, and having to shut down that my new computer was like techie heaven! I can't say enough good things about it. Everything about it is so easy and user-friendly. I highly recommend the iMac.

I do graphics creation and editing. Copy editing and page layout. Data bases and PowerPoints. Sound and video files. And on and on. It just works!

Love my Mac. Was a PC user for ever, made the switch about 3 years ago when my 2nd Dell died. Now own two iMacs and love them both!

Mac is so easy to use and it rarely has any problems. I just wish more people would appreciate its value over its competitors.
