Apple iMac 24" Desktop Computer Review

When my husband first tried to convince me to buy this outrageously huge desktop, I have to admit that I was skeptical due to the size and cost.  We already had two Mac laptops, so I didn't think this was necessary.  But, since we didn't have a TV, this looked like a good way to buy both at the same time.  It has an HD flat screen, so we end up watching movies and TV shows online, and it is fantastic.  This computer is very fast, and it has great programs.  I LOVE the size of the screen now.  It makes it so easy to  do anything online...even more than one thing online.  Because the screen is the computer, it is compact, so we don't have lots of equipment all over the place.  All USB ports are located on the back of the computer, which also helps keeps cords out of the way.  As with all Macs, we never have to worry about getting viruses, though we do run into the occasional problem with online software or emails that don't function on a Mac.  We also purchased the wireless keyboard and mouse with this computer, and this was also a fantastic idea--I highly recommend it!  You can sit as close to or as far away from the screen as you want.  The mouse sticks every now and again, but we've been able to get it working again without bringing it in to the Mac Store.  The only thing that I think would be difficult with this computer would be bringing it in if it needed to be serviced by Mac.  They have EXCELLENT customer service, but it would be a challenge to get this in...though no more of a challenge than any PC desktop.
