Apple iMac 24" Desktop Computer Review

We use a 24" iMac in our living room as a family computer/"TV".  We have it connected to a home file server where a number of kid friendly movies and TV episodes are stored as separate files.  With the remote control that came with the computer and "Front Row" software built into the iMac, our kids can easily browse and watch videos they want (during the time they are allowed to watch).

We also use it often throughout the day for looking up something on the Internet, searching, using Google Map for direction, etc.

When not in use, the screen saver showing photos from our various vacations and events make a really nice decoration for the room.

This is one of the best purchases we've made for the living room, and the entire family is very pleased with it. And we haven't even loaded any video games onto the iMac yet!

On the technical side, the sharpness of the screen is quite amazing. and the viewing angle is pretty wide also.  The computer is also very snappy and comes with a bunch of useful software, some of which we haven't even tried yet.

Over all, we're loving it, and we now cannot live without it!
