I purchased the IMac fifteen inch desktop when it was first released in can't even remember when it was so long ago, and I still use this computer today. At the time of its release it was a very fast computer to use for internet surfing, but with todays pop-up videos on sites and also other technoligies I have found that today the computer tends to lag and slow down even with cable internet. Another current problem is that you can't upgrade past Mac OS 10.4, and I really knew my system was old when I couldn't even upgrade to ITunes 10. There are still some good things about this computer is still a great computer to use for writting, some video editing, and digital photography work. I still love the design of this computer with its base and swivel arm.

The Apple computer I have is about ten years old and I can still do most things like upgrading it to a certain point. Technology is moving so fast ahead that I can't upgrade it any further. But from what others who have computers, they said their computers were outdated sooner. Which means our next computer will likely be an Apple.

I purschased this IMac computer as a backup fo rschool and let me tell you it is a great product. The rams are awesome and the picture is very clear and screen. I have not had any problems with this since purchasing it. i do not have  any regrets about the price or buying it.

I love this computer, the speakers really sound good, the new iMacs have internal speakers that don't really compare.  Plus they are mirrored.  I absolutely love how I can move the screen around anyway I want.  This is really an innovative design that has never been equaled.   Lets talk about the specs now.  SCREEN: iMac screens are very nice.  they have a nice matte finnish and is pleasing to look at.   QUIET: only one fan, the dome shape is very efficient (thanks Bucky) so the computer only needs one fan to keep it cool.   PORTABILITY:  This thing is so easy to pick up and go,  they even have a handle, or more likely the neck of the screen, but it acts like a handle rather easily.   EASE OF USE: Hey its a Mac, what can I say,  OS X is the most advanced operating system.  I have been using Macs for 7 or 8 years and now I get crippled when I am on a PC.  windows just cant do the simple things easily like a mac.   CONCLUSION:  It may not be the fastest computer anymore,  But my little iMac has lasted me well past 5 years, that is a lot of computer usage for the money.
