This iHome has only brought me problems since I bought it! The sound that comes out when I plug my iPod in is awful, and I am constantly finding myself tryign to adjust the  settings so I can find something managealbe, but I am never happy. I even gave it to my daughter after I was sick of it (she is 13) and she can't seem to stand it either. I thought for the money I would be receiving a much better product, and will definitely invest my money elsewhere later on. Not only does the sound come out extremely bad, but the connection device seems to have changed something in my iPod internally as well (something I'm definitely not thrilled about).  Next time I  am looking for an external device for my Ipod I think I'll opt for some old computer speakers instead, and I'll definitely tell those who I know to stay away from this brand of iHome! It's better to just listen to music on the radio for sure!

The iHome alarm clock/iPod dock is absolutely incredible. You would never think something so little would make so much sound. You can have the volume set to four and still be able to hear the music really well. I love my iHome, it is perfect for being away at college and needed an alarm clock to wake up in the morning. It is small and compact and perfect for any dorm room. It doesn't take up much space and is relatively inexpensive. It is very useful... Just put your iPod onto the dock, press play... and while your music is playing, your iPod is charging. It is very useful when you are the type of person who studies or reads or does anything with some type of sound in the background. When I am doing work or studying, I definitely prefer having music on in the background, so the iHome comes in handy. The sound quality is great, easy to hear clearly even when at a low volume and it has a sleep timer so that you can set it to turn off as you are going to sleep.

I am the mom of four kids and we all love to listen to music while I work but I don't like to wear headphones because then I can't hear what is going on around me and then my kids can't hear the music either and I love to have music in my home for all to enjoy. The ihome dock system is a great solution. A great speaker system and charges the ipod at the same time. It is very easy to move from one room to the next and it has a battery in it so that when you do unplug it the clock doesn't have to be reset. (Also great for when you lose power in the middle of the night.) I like that I have a clock on to the side of my bed. Granted the light on it is a little too bright so I actually turn the light off while I sleep but all you have to do is hit the snooze button and you can see what time it is. I did think I was getting a radio with it and was disappointed that it didn't have one but it still serves the original purpose for purchasing this product. If you are looking for an affordable ipod dock with clock then this is a great product for you.
