The iBook is light enough I can take mine anywhere with me and do take it everywhere in a protective sleeve. iBook is everything I need in a computer with the convenience of a laptop... WIFI, word processing, photo editing, plays and writes DVD's and CD's. Stores all of my files and iTunes is a complete music library. Great for watching movies and informational D.VD's With iPhoto I can easily download and edit picture as well as organize photos into albums. The task I do with this computer are almost endless. Overall, very pleased with performance and ease of use. Ease of Use Never had any issues with bugs and crashes like with PC... Slight learning curve from PC but well worth it... soooooo much more user friendly :) Support & Service N/A as I never needed to use support. Any issues are automatically reported to Apple. Speed/Performance Great airport WIFI; connects quickly to all hotspots. Design light weight, sleek, durable.

I have one of of these laptops and its the best ones i have ever bought i love macs and buy and sell them to get the newest and latest models. I bought a macbook pro earlier and trust me This mac book although nto a book pro its sleek! its its 14.1 innch crystal clear display you wil not be disapointed. whats most amazing is that macs are macs no matter what and ecah one you get your experiance with mac books in general improves. Trust me it will become a life time loyalty. After you try this product yuo will forget ant PC you ahve ever worked with its even beats some of its own collgues in the league. The Aplpe Ibook is one the best you will find. Its good for fast iternet speeds on the go especially in over cojusted airports where signals are weak. Its more of a busines mans love. eve if your not the business type but love portablity this ibook is for you. trust me on this one althoug i am a mac addict i only endorse the best of its kind.

I was so excited to go and purchase my Apple iBook G4 back in 2006 when they were still pretty new in Apple's product line. I know that it was not a mistake in getting this laptop! Most PC's do not last longer than a few years before crapping out on you, forcing you to buy yet another computer....but here we are in 2011 and I am still going strong with my iBook G4! I know you cannot buy them new anymore from the Apple store because they have newer versions that are now available, but you shouldn't be sorry if you were to purchase a used one from someone you know, or on Craigslist, etc. The processor runs great, and I love all the features of iLife. I love being able to have a device that covers all the essentials, plus fun things like recording music with Garageband, creating websites with iWeb, movies with iMovie, and amazing professional-quality DVD's with iDVD. It has been a great laptop that I'll continue to love!

I love Mac. The computer that I had before was a PC laptop. I became really frustrated with it in the end, because it got viruses and spyware slowed the computer down. I was in the middle of a school semester and my PC laptop kept on crashing. So I decided to buy a new laptop and I switched to Mac, the ibook G4. Mac is more expensive than most computers, but I believe that it is worth it.  The laptop case is very sturdy and I am not afraid of dropping and breaking it.  I have had this laptop for a few years now, but it still works great and is still fast.  My ex boyfriend also had an ibook that lasted a very long time, about 6 years I think. It is useful to have itunes already on your computer if you are using an ipod. It is user friendly. My laptop came with an internal wifi card so I can easily connect to the internet wherever there is a wifi signal.  I like to take it to coffee shops to work in a different atmosphere. I have not had any problems with the computer and am very satisfied.

I love my iBookG4! I was always a PC person but had to buy an iBook for a college program I was enrolled in. Switching over has been fantastic! In the 9 years I've had my iBook, I've only had 2 problems with it, and those (a dead battery that needed to be replaced and a hard drive that had to be replaced) were only issues that naturally come up with age. Otherwise, I never had any issues with my iBook.  I love how easy the iBook is to use and that I never have to worry about viruses. The money I save alone by not having to buy virus programs is a huge plus. It's so easy to make the switch from PC to Apple. Load the Apple-compatible Microsoft Office program on your Apple if you love Office, and you're good to go! Easy, easy, easy! And if you don't have to have Microsoft Office, Apple loads its own word doc programs on to the iBook that are easy to learn to use if you just give them a chance.  I never thought I'd be a Mac person, but I wouldn't go back to PC if you paid me.
