I use these in my lab at school for graphic design work. The students pick them up quickly and are successful in project production alsmost immediately. The iLife Suite is a terrific package that enables even the most computer phobic student to enjoy working on the "MAC" side.

Great for first time users on MACs, provides an easy learning experience to the operating software, although kind of slow its fast comparable to the start up time and standard operations of a PC for the same period. the absolute best computer brand in the world is apple, no doubt about it. every product they make is amazing. and the big white emac is definitely one of those amazing products. ive never had a problem with it ever. it has a loooot of memory on it great for downloading just about anything i want. it is excellent for downloading and playing games, installing software, watching videos (in the cd/dvd drive or on the internet). right now i am only running osx 10.3.9, but even on this system the computer runs beautifully. i got this computer as an upgrade from my bondi blue imac (those really colorful...

I'm not a major techie, but I do know my way around a computer, both Mac and PCs.  This is my third Mac -- My first one was a B&W Mac Classic from about 15 years ago.  After that I got a color Mac, and now I have this eMac and have had it for several years. It has never let me down. Plus, unlike what I've experienced with the PCs I've used, my eMac is easy. Each step almost explains the next step.  To me, my emac is a Cadallac, the PCs I've used are Kias.
