Husband and I traveled May 2007 to Sandos Beach Playacar near PlayaDelCarmen in Mexico was a wonderful experience the Resort upgraded us to a Hacienda room we had a swimming pool outside our room and hot tub. We have traveld before on an Apple Vacation but never again. We planned to stay at Iberostar Tucan but when we arrived we were told that hotel was closed and were now staying at Iberostar Lindo. Great resort for vacation

Visited Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort Spas in Mexico Jan, 2009.  The resort, food, services, entertainment was great and the management was the best.  Will definately go back.

Apple Vacations is not consumer friendly

Apple vacations charged us for direct rides to and from the airport, the idea being to save time and to get to leave later at departure.  They then made us leave the hotel really early and arrive 3-4 hours before our plane took off.  We were in the same van with people who did not pay for the direct service--basically, they didn't want the expense of sending two vans.  Their rep at the hotel (Grand Sirenis) was surly and unpleasant even before there was a disagreement, and their administration was totally unresponsive. Seems it would have taken very little cost or effort to hold on to long...

Went to Crown Pacific Resort in Huatulco, Mexico March 9 to the 16th. 2009. This had to be the worst vacation of my life. Apple vacation rates this resort a 4 red apple but in reality its nothing more than a 2, and that is being generous. The resort only has one specialty restaurant that was only open on Tuesdays and one buffett.  The food on the buffett on most nights was terrible.  There was very little variety and it all basically tasted the same.The second day we were there, we became ill with stomach pain and diarrhea.  This lasted the entire vacation and when we returned home, we had to... read full review »
