I've had it four years now, and I love it! I have the 17" model. Originally planned to get the 15", but fell in love in the Apple store. No regrets.
Macs ARE intuitive, even for and unintuitive person like me. I was switched from PC's to Macs in 1989 and have rarely gone back, even when Windoze came out (or as we "Mac Addicts used to like to call it "Mac 89").

I love this Mac PowerBook G4, it is at least six years old and still going. This computer got me through college and then some. I, literally, would not have been able to get through college without it. Not only did I write all of my papers and conduct all of my research on it, but I have a character recognition program that reads books to me (and without this computer would not have been able to read my books or study).

I would recommend this computer to anyone who can get ahold of one. It is older, however I have found this one of the most user friendly laptops. I mainly use it for email, surfing, and the like, so nothing overwhelmingly difficult. This computer, although I don't use it to its fullest capacity, has many different options. I hate to admit this, but I love my Apple PowerBook G4. I tried so hard not to buy one since everyone was jumping into the Apple bandwagon; and I ended up receiving the Apple Powerbook as a birthday present. When it comes to computers apple computers are the best! There is no comparison with the personal computer compared to the Apple computer. People can do so many different things with an Apple computer compared to what you can do with a personal computer. Also, which is very important and very awsome it that Apple computers don't get as many viriuses as the personal computer does. I got this computer as a gift from my mother after recently moving back home along with an older Windows laptop and I have to say I have really grown to love this Mac.
It took me a while to adjust to clicking on the other sides of windows to close or enlarge them as well as where to find the software that inititially came installed on the Mac but besides the initial adjustment time using this computer has been a wonderful experience.

this is the first mac computer i've ever used and i was tentative about switching over from using PCs. it was the best decision! i was able to switch over from my PC frame of mind very quickly.. within a day or two. the interface just makes sense. it's travelled well and has survived two falls. my only problem with this is the battery life (istatpro tells you the health of the battery and mine is below 80%). also, i feel like the laptop gets overheated quickly, but that seems to be the case with most laptops. no complaints!
This computer does everything I need of it and does it well. I've traveled with it and I've used it HARD and still it is working well. Excellent ease of use. Very intuitive to use so you don't need to spend hours reading a manual. Easy to install new software.
As a MAC it is less susceptible to viruses so that's a real comfort to someone who doesn't have an IT department to fix problems.
Runs all the programs anyone is likely to ever need.
I got my Apple Laptop from a friend because they bought a new one and he said he never had any problems with it, so I was excited to get it because I cant afford one. It was fine for a few days but then it kept gettting really hot after 20 minutes and then it would start shutting off.
I love my apple, I just wish I knew what was wrong with it.
