Apple - Pacific Design Ipod Nano Flip Case Review

When I set out to buy my first ipod I had no idea the choices I would have-classic ipod ok, but how many GB's, ipod nano, still, how many GB's, and then there's the ipod touch and iphone.  Yikes!  When I finally settled on the ipod nano 4GB, I thought my choices were over.  Boy, was I wrong.  My choices were far from over, because once my little ipod nano arrived, it was time to begin shopping for accessories! 

I had no idea that there were so many choices on the market for how you could cover your ipod.  Now, I wasn't out there looking to transform my ipod into something it wasn't-I like the how it looks, the sleek design is awesome and cutting edge, so the "skins" available were of no interest.  I just wanted something to protect it, especially the screen from damage. 

When I came upon the flip case by Pacific Design at Sears, I knew that I had found exactly what I was looking for.  While I initially thought $19.99 was a bit high for the case, the price was comparable to every case that I had seen elsewhere and the ipod protective case by Pacific Design turned out to be money well spent.  Not only does it do a great job protecting your investment, but it has stylish looks too.  Mine is black and red with red stitching, but several other designs were availalbe at my local Sears. 

While there are many ipod protective cases on the market, I really prefer this case by Pacific Design because of it's "flip" functionality which provides easy closing and opening with its magnetic ability.  A small magnet inside the case keeps it closed when not in use, but easily opens when you are ready to change songs on your ipod.  It's super-easy to use with just one hand, so the magnet inside is just the right strength.  Knowing that my ipod nano is well protected when I take it out of the car (and looks good too!) makes this ipod case by Pacific Design a must have.
