I've had my macbook for over two years now.  It got me through two years of college = lots of hours of online research, lots of research papers, and of course the occasional webcam chat with my long-distance boyfriend.  I have over 10,000 songs stored in my iTunes collection and a comparable collection of pictures and videos saved on the hard drive; but it hasn't slowed the mac down at all like it would my old Dell (I had to buy an external hard drive for that laptop to function).

My brother-in-laws have been avid Mac users and constantly talked with my high school daughter about getting one for her school work and outside projects.  Not knowing much about Apple products I equated it with the old VHS/Beta issue and felt that if she bought an Apple Macbook she would find herself with an outdated piece of equipment and all the money she had saved would be lost.  When she decided to get her own computer, she told her relatives not to get her birthday or Christmas gifts for about 2 years.  She asked if they could donate to her computer fund instead.  This was a lengthy process...

This is my first Mac experience as an owner.  I've owned a desktop "pc" for the last 15 years and feel like I spent most of my time either trying to figure out why it wouldn't do what I wanted it to do or trying to find the right person that could come and bail me out.  One year after spending $1000 to update our "pc" so I could continue with my work, my son made the comment  that I could go out and nearly buy a new Macbook for what we were spending in a matter of months on our old computer.  I kept researching the pros and cons of "pc" vs Mac and finally decided to give this Macbook a try....

Well Lets see , It all Started back in 2003 when i met my now husband and i as then using a windose operating system that was a pain  in the butt, it would always crash or freze and then it would make me reboot the whole system!!! today we have many different types of laptop brands and laptop sizes for all kinds of people, but only one could be a mac is the best laptop for all of us... no matter of age or job or carree we have in life..every person might not have used or owned a mac before, i tell all of you who not not use or looked at a mac before this messags is for all of us in who is not a the world is big but not all people have used a mac before..for those who never used a mac... just know this...the only thing to know about the very best are mac books, mac book pro, just any kind of mac are always a very great tool...

I have had many IBM laptop computers in the past, but always had problems.  They would freeze on me, battery life would decrease very quickly, and 3 of them even crashed all together.  I finally got a MacBook and have been so very pleased!  No problems at all and so easy to use.  Wish I had made the switch sooner!

I love my Apple MacBook!! It is so user-friendly and I can easily do anything I need to do on it.

The only bad thing is that it's white, so it already looks kind of yucky- I obviously don't use it when my hands are dirty, but it looks dirty...

Great product , have a PC notebook , however my Mac-book runs circles around my PC (HP), I had service repairs made to both systems, Apples support is the best I have experienced!!
