Sure you can get laptops with more RAM, or more Hard Drive space, or faster CPUs or whatever, but they are all PC based and all the things you know about PCs, like viruses, constant crashes, constant updating and security issues are all true. The actual laptop is sleek, well built, comfortable to use and pretty much ready to go right out of the box, and that's just the first impression. I decided to go with a Mac for college because I'd had some less-than-satisfactory experiences with PCs over the years (my family being PC consumers) and wanted something more reliable, and because I'd used Macs before and found them very intuitive. I personally love the Macbook Pro 15.  This machine is powerful and fast.  I really like the interaction with the Macbook.  It's like an artist studio for the tech savvy individual.  The Snow Leapord operating system is so easy to learn and use.  Such capabilities like Time Machine, which allows the user to go back in time and grab a snapshot of time on the machine and be able to pull something off that you may have deleted and decided you needed.  I also like the smooth rendering of the display.  The MacBook's display is not harsh on the eyes and has almost a calming affect on the user. ...

I bought the Macbook Pro about four years ago and there is still no problems. It is reliable and the compatible Windows software integrated easily with my Apple.
